Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Newcastle United (04/01/25)

Great result. The second half was an unpleasant watch but I've seen too many games where we've either thrown it away or been the team with possession but no end product to pick fault.

That felt like another keep them at arms length performance 2nd half. Most annoying thing today was that we kept playing back into dead ends, rather than playing into the space.

Ange has lost the plot. Ref was shit for both teams.

Why is such time being given to the "handball". Joe Hart the only one taking sense about it.

Ange is an odd character to be manager of a club like Spurs. Guy is arrogant and unpleasant with the media, but also has very little history of success in his career to back up this behaviour. You would think he was a young, headstrong manager with the way he acts, but this man is older than my parents, lol.

I don't really understand him or why Spurs fans back him and his "project" despite mediocre results. The man seems over-matched, tbh.

Wasn't impressed with the ref today

He was the same cunt who couldn’t put his whistle to his lips fast enough when we played Liverpool. Spent two minutes of the stoppage time fannying on with pointless VAR checks and waving away appeals but blows up bang on time. Today he’s finding armfuls of additional minutes. Bellend.

Id 100% have asked him about Gordons nose.

Well that's the thing. I can understand he's pissed about our goal, but I genuinely think we'd have scored if their lad hadn't blocked off Gordon and bust his nose in the process. Swings and roundabouts.

Over 90 minutes we deserved to win.

Given it was 1-2 at half time, Spurs will probably feel like they deserved a draw.  I'm on the fence as they didn't really create any clear cut chances.  The best was the cross and header towards the end.  Barnes chance was as good as what they created.

He's clearly really struggling with the pressure. Hope he can take a step back and calm down.

Man, I'm embarrassed. Here I was being stressed out and apparently I wasn't even watching the correct game. The game this cunt is going on about sounds far more pleasant.
