I did expect us not to be AWFUL against an injury-raveged Bournemouth side at home.

Now you know. There's always a chance for us to be awful.

Fair do's, the better side won. They had the equipment to nullify our game.

My heart sank when Isak grabbed the ball for that free kick near the end. I appreciate that as our star striker he wanted it, but Tripps is the free-kick specialist. It astonishes me when I see that kind of school playground mentality among professionals. Either the captain or the manager should have insisted on Trippier having it.

There is not too much to take from this match, tbh. The team has been playing extremely well, but came out looking ragged and tired against a side that worked hard and was well-drilled. There are times you can overcome this, but you will not when the opposition is finishing like that.[emoji38]All four goals were very well taken.

The sloppiness today was poor, but is only really a worry if it spreads to the next few matches. The question is if the team can regain positive momentum after getting their ass viciously beaten in that manner

Bench definitely an issue. It should have been our major advantage today from 60 mins on. The one bloke they had to bring on who is not a child had more impact.

If those on the bench can't contribute they need to be moved on ASAP.

Fair play to Bournemouth.

In my opinion the team that plays with the best energy and intensity in the league.

Every single game they are at the opposition.

Well done to them.

I fucking despise 12:30pm KO’s.

Yeah they do seem to often generate different performances and results. Awful for betting on.

No complaints, Bournemouth were simply outstanding, bunch of pitballs and technically very good. On to the next one.

Yup, fuming as I was over how we went about the second half, they were outstanding. Had a great gameplan and executed it perfectly.

Reminded me of that Forest game last season. Shite early kick offs, players looked like they couldn’t be arsed, most of the crowd couldn’t be arsed and outclassed.

Every single player was shite there.

Feel like we need to reach an understanding that the other team are trying to win too and it's not always that we're fucking shit when things don't go our way.

They’re not mutually exclusive, though.

Their gameplan was perfect. How we set up and how we continued to try and combat it was confusing to say the least. It just made them better and played into their hands with attempting to beat their press all the while.

I do think Howe was out thought on the day. Plus certain players were miles off individually on top of that. Unforced errors under minimal or no pressure.

Aye, disappointing but the better team on the day won, and comfortably. The chances missed earlier, they got the scoreline they ultimately deserved.

We looked very lethargic today, and maybe the run of fixtures just caught up with us, but we have a week to regroup and hopefully be back up for it next saturday!

They had a bunch of kids on the bench.

They didn't need any help from the bench. Could've had a bench full of kids from the local orphanage and still beaten us 4-1. It was about what they did with he players on the pitch. They properly knew what to do and did it well. We did the exact opposite, seemed to have no clue how to manage the game or get anywhere near their goal for that matter.

Is it necessary to use words like embarrassing to describe a 9 game winning run being ended by a team that won at Stamford Bridge 3 days ago and are now 1 point behind us? We threw attacking players on to try and get an equaliser so the score looks worse than it might have done - big deal.

They didn't win at Chelsea but other than that you're right.

Was just gonna say; taking nowt away from Bournemouth, the score is clearly a little flattering thanks to the late double when we were desperately trying to salvage something.

Easier said than done though. I’m sure if someone wanted them we would let them go.

We continually refuse to sell squad players let's hope that changes this window.

Also Bournemouth have done a terrific job of showing us not every player has to cost 40m + to contribute and they don't need premier league experience.
