alexf
Kudus Bowen and Paqueta normally cause us problems. I'd like to think we always have a chance if Isak is playing but how fit or how committed he will be, especially if their big CB's try to rough him up, knowing he'll be trying to avoid getting injured for the final. But worse is our defence at the moment. Looked so vulnerable past month or 2.

Ikon
Massive lack of composure in the team overall for tonight (more than usual). Fingers crossed we can perform anyway.

Lush Vlad
9 minutes ago, cubaricho said: What is this “please god no” when it comes to Pope? He’s the better shot stopper. He’s better at everything bar kicking. People going on like we’re starting Longstaff ahead of Bruno or something His form this season has been well below his usual standard, mind and the two league games since his knee injury, he has looked sluggish at best. He was good against Birmingham. I guess people have decided since that shoulder injury he is done and that’s his level now. Might be the case, TBF. Likelylad
My main worry with Pope was always how reticent the defence are to pass him the ball to feet due his shite kicking and distribution. He's now looking dodgy with his overall game, shot stopping, positioning etc.

Dr Jinx
They were one of the worst teams in the league when we played them in November and yet they were made to look like a top 6 team by how shite we were. I'm expecting nothing tonight. Players have been on the beach since we got to the final.

Likelylad
Because people don't consider this current post injury version of Pope to be up to standard. Which tbf can be backed up by some truly shoddy recent performances. A little bit hyperbolic perhaps?

Infinitely Content
1 hour ago, cubaricho said: What is this “please god no” when it comes to Pope? He’s the better shot stopper. Probably because based on form Dubravka should be starting in the cup final, and this is our last game to establish a bit of continuity of the defensive unit, especially as the two full back positions will likely be filled by players who haven't played much in their respective roles. Regularly rotating goalkeepers is something you rarely see for good reason.
