The Prophet Posted Friday at 12:28 Share Posted Friday at 12:28 To be fair, could easily see Man United sweating out a barely deserved draw. I don't think they will, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

frankpingel Posted Friday at 12:40 Share Posted Friday at 12:40 Man U can definitely get something just like we used to hope to get similar when at OT in bygone days. And just like then, if the home team turns up and is suitably motivated, there'll be one outcome.
Abacus Posted Friday at 12:43 Share Posted Friday at 12:43 You never expect an injury update on your manager I think this will be a tough one - Lyons weren't great and nor were Man City but that's what's in front of them and they have ground out OK results. Not sure how much the league means to them now is the only thing.

The Man City game was perhaps the most boring game of the season and Lyon were poor but still managed to claw a draw after going 2-1 down in the 88th. Truth is Man Utd are not very good at all and if we play to our ability, at home, the 3 points are ours. They will park the bus and try and hit us on the break, we just need to break them down. I don’t think it’s guaranteed. They were run ragged on Wednesday, are still in with a chance in the home leg so will have one eye on that, and Southampton will have some degree of freedom with the coach gone and relegation confirmed. Not saying it’s unlikely Villa win, but it wouldn’t be a big shock to see a draw

Southampton are worse than the Derby team that set the record.

Turnbull2000 Posted Friday at 13:34 Share Posted Friday at 13:34 I don't demand much, but a victory as comfortable as Leicester except with some liquid football thrown in, a thunderbastard goal from Schar, and a thoroughly enjoyable late Sunday afternoon please. WilliamPS Posted Friday at 13:47 Share Posted Friday at 13:47 How long does the concussion protocol rule Willock out for? Didn’t realise it lasted over 10 days, thought he’d be cleared by this game.

Nine Posted Friday at 14:09 Share Posted Friday at 14:09 (edited) An early goal would be huge, while they arnt great they could be frustrating for us to break down. They have ground out draws against good sides this season. Edited Friday at 14:13 by Nine

Andy Posted Friday at 15:56 Share Posted Friday at 15:56 Weird thing to say given the clubs involved, but I'm actually worried about complacency for this one. I don't think I've ever gone into a game against these with the national expectation being that we would completely tea bag them, but that's how it feels, even from their own fans. Slightly worried that we'll botch it.
