You never expect an injury update on your manager [emoji38]

I think this will be a tough one - Lyons weren't great and nor were Man City but that's what's in front of them and they have ground out OK results. Not sure how much the league means to them now is the only thing.

The Man City game was perhaps the most boring game of the season and Lyon were poor but still managed to claw a draw after going 2-1 down in the 88th.

Truth is Man Utd are not very good at all and if we play to our ability, at home, the 3 points are ours. They will park the bus and try and hit us on the break, we just need to break them down.

They are the exact type of team we struggle to break down tbf.

Villa have got a guaranteed 3 points this week so all the more important that we win.

I don’t think it’s guaranteed. They were run ragged on Wednesday, are still in with a chance in the home leg so will have one eye on that, and Southampton will have some degree of freedom with the coach gone and relegation confirmed. Not saying it’s unlikely Villa win, but it wouldn’t be a big shock to see a draw

The points might as well already be on the table already. Southampton are worse than the Derby team that set the record.

How long does the concussion protocol rule Willock out for? Didn’t realise it lasted over 10 days, thought he’d be cleared by this game.

Should be alright for Palace, unless there’s been ongoing symptoms.

When good teams play badly against us, we often know it's down to us stifling them and nullifying them and get infuriated when the press / mackems etc say "I see the other team didn't turn up - AGAIN".

We should be careful not to do the same here.

An early goal would be huge, while they arnt great they could be frustrating for us to break down. They have ground out draws against good sides this season.

They have a bloke in goal that is absolutely horrendous.  Easy win by quite a few goals.

Weird thing to say given the clubs involved, but I'm actually worried about complacency for this one. I don't think I've ever gone into a game against these with the national expectation being that we would completely tea bag them, but that's how it feels, even from their own fans.

Slightly worried that we'll botch it.

IIRC Frogster has previously stated their reserve keeper is pony. Who is next in line? Tom Heaton? Ben Foster? Roy Carroll?

They've got some Turkish(?) lad who conceded directly from a corner earlier in the season iirc
