Can't catch a fucking break can we.

Of course we can. We just need to be ahead of the game instead of crossing our fingers and always hoping it might go our way.

We've known two months ago they don't want to lose him, so we should have some alternative plans in play. I'm hoping some of those alternatives are still in play instead of ending up at Forest or Aston Villa.

Ramos seems the only stand out option at the minute, longer this goes on Isak will probably benstaying

Yeah, there's definitely a scenario where we end up with Ramos and Isak.

Think the Isak or Wissa thing will go right to the wire and will be this summer's big transfer window drama.

He feels like the realistic Isak last minute 'replacement'.

Probably accurate but I want Jackson as the Wilson replacement and am gonna be greedy on this one

This feels like another Guehi saga, if Brentford are gonna play silly buggers with us then move elsewhere before we end up getting stung again.

60m for a 28 year old with 1 year left on his deal is absurd

Well he is one of the alternatives :D

He was, but I just hope we have read this right and aren't in danger of just hoping it will all work out. Brentford don't want to lose him, and unless we are willing to pay daft money, we can't guarantee they will let him leave. So what are the alternatives to the alternative?

It’s effectively two years left.

Regardless, £60m would seem very excessive, although they, like any selling selling club, are entitled to ask for whatever they want.

I don't know, we are starting to run out.

Jackson and Hojlund maybe. Getting desperate here.

At one point even I have to admit that we are going to have no choice but to keep Isak aswell.

As much as we need him, £60m for Wissa shouldn't be allowed to happen, it's a stupid fee for a club in our position to pay.

£60m is too much. £50m is probably about right in the current market, to be honest, circumstances taken into account.

Jackson's finishing is very similar to Gordon. I don't think we gain a lot from getting him. We need someone to put the ball in the net.

I think he's better than Gordon personally. He has more power in his shots and scores a few from distance, Gordon tends to be closer range finishes.

I think he provides more than Gordon. How much more is debateable.

Well this is the issue though it’s effectively two years and if you think £60m for him is crazy, we must be utterly mad for asking for £150 for Isak. After all Wissa’s propose fee is only 40% of Isak’s and they both scored a similar number of goals last year

Can we gazump Forest for Kaliumendo?

We seem too nice to do such things

More chance of gazumping ourselves by paying more than we intended for Wissa the way things are going. This is the problem when you leave things later and later, other options start to dwindle and you then have less to choose from.

I’m not even a bit shocked Brentford are hard to deal with. They know we’re desperate and didnt budge an inch with Man u over Mbuemo. They’re also fucking awful and relegation would cost them a whole lot more.

Howay man thats just daft

Isaks all round game is far better

Isak is 4 years younger and got 3 years left on his contract still

Its obviously Brentfords perogative to sell Wissa at what they want for him but i would back the club all the way for not paying £50-60?! Million for him like
