Yorkie
Is it plausible that, in Jackson's case (and unlike Isak and Wissa), his price falls the closer we get to the deadline? They already have their replacements.

We just need to be ahead of the game instead of crossing our fingers and always hoping it might go our way. We've known two months ago they don't want to lose him, so we should have some alternative plans in play. I'm hoping some of those alternatives are still in play instead of ending up at Forest or Aston Villa.

Think the Isak or Wissa thing will go right to the wire and will be this summer's big transfer window drama.

Moose
This feels like another Guehi saga, if Brentford are gonna play silly buggers with us then move elsewhere before we end up getting stung again. 60m for a 28 year old with 1 year left on his deal is absurd

alexf
Jackson's finishing is very similar to Gordon. I don't think we gain a lot from getting him. We need someone to put the ball in the net.

Brentford don't want to lose him, and unless we are willing to pay daft money, we can't guarantee they will let him leave. So what are the alternatives to the alternative? Regardless, £60m would seem very excessive, although they, like any selling selling club, are entitled to ask for whatever they want.

I don't know, we are starting to run out. Jackson and Hojlund maybe. Getting desperate here. At one point even I have to admit that we are going to have no choice but to keep Isak aswell. I think he provides more than Gordon. How much more is debateable.

After all Wissa’s propose fee is only 40% of Isak’s and they both scored a similar number of goals last year Edited August 18, 2025 by Ghandis Flip-Flop

et tu brute
No chance PIF authorise £60 million and rightly so. Time to move on as we can't wait and if it is true about that figure, then I'm certain they will

Shadow Puppets
Find this mornings reports hard to believe. Still think a deal will be done in the next 48 hours, probably for around £45m
St1pe
I’m not even a bit shocked Brentford are hard to deal with. They know we’re desperate and didnt budge an inch with Man u over Mbuemo. They’re also fucking awful and relegation would cost them a whole lot more.

Million for him like
