Šeško isn’t going to get folk out of their seat like Isak. He definitely needs to get in the box more for a main striker. However, technically very good and has good feet for a big man.

 

Think he has the tools to be top drawer but patience will be needed. Ideally we keep Isak and give him a season to adapt.

It's obvious considering how we've caved with the Isak situation innit? :lol: Don't want to shit on everyone's excitement though, it's nice seeing some of us happy about the window for once.

I know i've been away from it all for a long time until this summer, so i'm likely emotionally detached. But I genuinely don't know how some in this thread continue to support tbh :lol: every piece of news seems to be met with at best - Apathy.

He's 22 years old. Those are fantastic stats any way you look at it.

Who's saying that he's an Isak replacement? We tried to sign a more expensive Hugo to compliment Isak, not to replace him. Surely that's still the case? It fucking better be. If he is an Isak substitute then we'd still need to buy another striker to replace Wilson.

I suppose. I just dunno how anyone wants to keep Isak after how he’s cracked on. He’s dead to me, so I’m not that arsed about him going.

 

If we pull this deal off, it’s for a player Nickson has tracked similarly to Isak and is obviously totally sold on as being good enough to replace him. I’ll be buzzing my ample tits off.

I don't, I just cannot stand the thought of him being at Liverpool and being acutely aware of him week after week. Would much rather keep him and block a domestic move, despite what he's done than have to endure that, after the way they've cucked us. It would be like Caroll x10 for me because he's actually world class and so will they be.

Technically, but that leaves little money for a CM and CB.

In all likelyhood based on the latest reports, signing this guy means that Isak is gone.

It’s possible that an Eddie coached Šeško will be better than a non-Eddie coached Isak. Our greatest strength is Howe’s ability to get the best out of players.

I'm fully on the 'never to Liverpool' train like, especially since being told it doesn't matter so much if he's sold now or next year, but I never want to see him play for us again.

 

Ideal situation would be to offer him the chance of a loan abroad for a year to allow more teams a chance to bid. Obviously string Liverpool along until deadline day.

Isak played well in about 20 of 38 games, he wants to go to Liverpool,  we get 140m and move on

Assumption doesn't mean we've caved though. 

 

I mean this genuinely KI as you're a great member of this forum but you seem to be getting really angry and agitated very easily on here recently in a number of threads.

 

It's been an incredibly frustrating summer but just seems really out of character for you.
