Bimpy474
Newcastle are tonight pushing ahead to agree a deal with RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko after being given encouragement the striker wants to join. It is not known what the Slovenian’s camp have communicated to Manchester United, who are also in the race to sign the 22-year-old, and sources have stressed that all outcomes are still possible. But Newcastle want to move quickly to agree terms with Leipzig, after the Bundesliga club sought to negotiate the structure of an offer totalling £70million over the weekend. Sesko is Newcastle’s top attacking target and there is a determination to accelerate a deal, especially after they were told on Monday he is willing to sign for the club. Man United’s interest remains - and it was thought last week that Old Trafford was his preferred destination - but unlike Newcastle, they did not table a formal offer over the weekend. The Magpies would like an outcome one way or the other over the next 24 hours, given their need to bring in a striker ahead of the season opener at Aston Villa a week on Saturday. Alexander Isak remains intent on a move to Liverpool, but the Premier League champions will only return with a new offer once Newcastle have the Swede’s replacement lined up. Fak
How do you push ahead when you've already submitted a bid and given the player a deadline? What are we pushing ahead?

Like the fucker is going out of his way to be as awkward and evasive as he possibly can be without ruling out any club he could maybe get an extra few grand a week out of. The very fact he's continuing to string this out is reason enough to just sack this wanksplat off and look elsewhere while there is still time. We've made a huge bid and gone for him and still not even got an answer? Fuck him. He'd be nightmare to manage and deal with even if he did sign. Just not worth the time and hassle, let him be someone else's problem We don’t really know what’s happening or how this scenario plays out, it seems to me to he’s waiting it out for a Man United offer to but this isn’t uncommon.. it’s how negotiations work. Howe wouldn’t be okay with signing a player that out and out didn’t want to play for our club.

Shadow Puppets
There's also the other possibility that the Slovenian report the other night was right, and it's actually Leipzig that are causing the delay trying to get Man Utd to the table.
Scoot
Man Utd just going to wait for Leipzig to accept our offer, then match it knowing Sesko will choose them. That's what's happening here...

If we are selling Isak, it can't be before we've done all our business, if before, clubs will know we're minted and take our eyes out. We need to keep up the "not for sale" stance true or not.
