Its amusing to me that most people, purely from a development point of view, would say you chose Newcastle to work with Eddie Howe to further refine your game and work with a coach who has a proven track record developing players in the premier league -- not to mention CL football next season and what is likely 2-3 seasons of being the main #9.

The fact he hasn't even got the bollocks to definitively turn us down is a huge red flag. Like the fucker is going out of his way to be as awkward and evasive as he possibly can be without ruling out any club he could maybe get an extra few grand a week out of. The very fact he's continuing to string this out is reason enough to just sack this wanksplat off and look elsewhere while there is still time. We've made a huge bid and gone for him and still not even got an answer?

Fuck him. He'd be nightmare to manage and deal with even if he did sign. Just not worth the time and hassle, let him be someone else's problem

He is an agent advised kid. If he moves it will be to Manchester. We would be better for his career, and could probably match his wage. A more interesting question is why did our reputation not continue from 95 onwards

Isak & Hoijlund is what he should be looking at one had a poor season and Newcastle/Howe turned him in to one of the best in world and one was highly rated and Man Utd turned him in to a pile of horse shit

He is definitely waiting for Man Utd but in my opinion is more than happy to join us so that’s why it is dragging.

Be very surprised if he comes to us now with the noise of Man Utd readying a bid, oh well we will be mocked again for missing out on another target. Who’s next?

So basically no definitive update either way?

Man U still haven't been able to put up the money yet so he's stringing us along into the second week now.

Sick to death of this cunt stalling on us waiting for his 'special club' to sack enough coach drivers and club shop workers to cover his fee.

As for Romano, the sooner that odious toad chokes to death on his own bile the better.

I see Sky are now referring this to "Man United's pursuit of Benjamin Sesko"

Aye, saw that. Basically talked for ages about where he'll fit in, playing alongside Cunha and Mbuemo, barely a mention that we ar ethe club that have actually put a bid in for him, whilst they are still 'preparing' to.

Interestingly though, bit further on, on that Transfer show, they got on about us and the Isak situation, and Dharmesh Seth was saying how we allegedly would love to spend £100-150m this summer but we cant dues to 'the rules'. The presenter (Mike Weddeburn) then commented that the rules were 'old money protected from new money'. There was a bit more back and forth, but then he basically said the same again, about the rules being changing to protect the 'old money'.

Was surprising, and refreshing to hear a Sky presenter saying and acknowledging the rules are deliberately protecting certain clubs.

What with John McGinns comments, now this, who knows, maybe eyes are slowly being opened to it all?

If your sister ever went to the Wentworth Leisure Centre roller disco between 1990-1993 then I probably did

I had a connection on the door that meant I got in for nowt and my cousin was the understudy DJ.
And I was a wicked skater

Fingerblasting lasses was like shooting fish in a barrel

It's not like it's some hidden knowledge, everyone knows what's going on. But they are good with it for the most part. The cartel clubs are like royalty for the PL, and most other clubs are ok with it.
