Still think this lad will want a massive wage.

Based on what? No one has actually taken a punt yet because his record is not all that. It's more promise than the real deal at this stage.

He's a 70 to 80 million pound player this is his big move he'll want a fair wedge.

Depends what that wedge is. I was hearing 300k and while I don't believe that, even 200k is a bit much for someone who hasn't actually done that well last season.

Whoever can sanction this at the club, PAY THE FUCKING FEE FOR ŠEŠKO NOW . Give him the number 9. Back Eddie to make him into another NUFC legend. Sell Isak to whoever can stump up the £150 Mil. even if it’s LiVARpool.

The short highlight clip I saw of him he looks ridiculously good. Shame it’s either not happening or an Isak replacement

some of these finishes

Not scoring some of those goals in the PL like, but he does look like he can finish. Definitely looks a player.

the whole club did bad in 2024-2025. I don’t really want him in Leipzig anymore and that’s for a couple of reasons. He was our highest scorer last season with 14 goals but he’s still not that good at finishing. He wastes chances, fails to score goals that should be scored, and is occasionally selfish with the ball, and his work rate is pretty bad. I don’t really care about the money he would bring to Leipzig if we sold him, frankly money isn’t an issue for Leipzig. But I desperately think we need better strikers. Openda did great when he first came to Leipzig, scoring 24 goals. He only scored 9 last season which is atrociously bad. Šeško stepped up to replace him but he still has room for improvement. I do really hope Leipzig sells him and gets a better Striker. I’m fine with Openda staying because he’s proven himself and with a new coach he could get back to being reliable.

What if I watched it but then we fail at signing him, will my day still be better?

The knock on his work rate is interesting/concerning.

That said, the Red Bull way of playing involves relentless pressing a lot of the time which might explain it a little bit. The bigger concern for me would be how he adapts to a single striker formation.

Bundesliga striker that is supposedly a bit wasteful with chances. That doesn’t usually translate well to the Prem.

I think you’ve got to factor in Eddie’s ability to coach a player - that’s the most exciting thing if this can happen - he’ll be working with one of the best coaches out there - he has a few rough edges to his game - nothing that can’t be fixed

From what I have seen his game could be elevated by playing with a 10
