Wage structure. Nobody gets that now except Bruno Fernandes.

Look at all the signings under INEOS:

De Ligt - £195k

Cunha - £180k

Mbeumo - £150k

Mazraoui - £120k

Ugarte - £120k

Yoro - £115k

Zirkzee - £105k

Sesko would be somewhere in the middle.

Mbeumo is on over £200,000, for sure.

That must be basic. Mbuemo’s reported was around £250kpw.

£150k base aye. Bonus is reportedly £50k.

I've never seen anyone quote a players wage to include the bonuses.

I completely get why a player would choose Man U. Realistically they are going to spend big every year until they get it right, they’re always going to attract players. That said, we should bully them off the field when we play them and finish ahead of them this season, by some distance if we get what we need.

Still seems low but if you say so.

For what it's worth, I think 90% of the time players would choose Man United over us because of the club's stature, even though we have CL football and they don't.

But Sesko seems young enough and overconfident enough that he will be looking at two big money moves in his prime instead of just one. His next club is a stepping stone to him getting his big move to Real/Barcelona/PSG etc. in 2-3 years.

From that perspective, the certainty of CL football next season to put yourself in the shop window matters a lot more than if you were looking for a place to stay at for the entirety of your prime. And we're clearly a far better environment for him to improve his game and be put in positions to succeed.

I'm sure we'll have the "HERE WE GO" to Manchester United by the time I've finished typing this.

I think you underestimate the attraction a young player has to having the biggest names on his CV. The chance to sign for one of the biggest clubs in the world doesn't come around too often, not many young players will look that far ahead and think, "you know what, maybe I'll revisit once I've been coached by Eddie Howe a bit."

I haven't seen his payslip. Just going by what semi decent sources are reporting. Our tier 1 sources also reported on the wage structure.

The thing with wages is that everyone will claim one thing or the other to suit their narrative.

You put "Mbeumo wages Man United" into any search engine and the figure that appears is £150k everywhere, yet opposition fans will tell you you're wrong and it's £200k+ for sure.

Who really knows.

What is it you want to know exactly?

Which club Benjamin Sesko will pick

Short of that, the thread is devolving into a lot of us being self-loathing and others making assumptions about what a cunt Sesko might be even though we have absolutely no idea about any part of his process, there's not shit else to do while we wait but by God I will bitch about it!

Thanks to our increasingly desperate situation, I'd been convincing myself that Sesko was going to be massive for us. But I'd previously been relatively unfussed about him. On paper, he seems vastly overpriced for his actual output, he's got a howitzer of a shot on him, but from what little I've seen, he needs multiple chances to convert one, which is a bit concerning. Could he kick on and become a monster? Absolutely. But he could just as easily find the demands of the Premier League to be a completely different challenge and end up very underwhelming for the price. Regardless of what happens, this transfer window is like watching a car crash unfold in slow motion. I just want to see the end of it with as little additional carnage as possible, ASAP.

Haha mate, this window has frazzled almost everyone.

Aye, I'm all ready to throw my imaginary season ticket at Andy Howe at the 1st game of the season. I still need my phone obviously but he'll get the message.
