I'm not George Caulkin but I think it will be fine.  We'll end up with 2 strikers, one might be Isak and most probably is now.  I think we'll en dup with a CB and a CM as well.  If that happens well have done everything we needed to.  The squad will be well balanced and have some depth.

Thank you so much. You have no idea what those words have done to my mental positivity. I can't thank you enough.

There’s lots of evidence to suggest this won’t happen like  I love the positivity but it’s really hard to turn an absolute shitshow around. Until the senior roles at the club are sorted…..

This is a proper fucking transfer SAGA Jim White would be proud of this one.

We'll all qualify for a fucking SAGA Holiday by the time this cunt chooses his next club.

Haha, no problem. The only thing that concerns me is our team will be incredibly functional. No really creativity in the final third but that's what Eddie wants and he's done well so far. It also served many managers well in the past.

Feels like has two choices to make, one is a footballing one and the other is a commercial one.

Joining us is a much better footballing project for him, he'll play under a manager who helped all the players under him get better, champions league football, club that's on the up and just broke it's trophy curse.

Joining them is what his agent will be pushing for, even though they are a club in turmoil and a manager who probably won't last half the season, the higher profile and the commercial aspect is appealing.

Whatever he chooses i can't be arsed at the moment really   we have Isak to keep as hostage until we find a proper player or even indulge in the prospect of Isak + another decent striker to back him up, i genuinely feel that any half decent striker will thrive in our system with all the hardworking players behind them feeding them.

At his stage, he doesn’t seem that keen on either of us tbh.

He does. He just knows that if he delays long enough he'll be in the box seat when it comes to sorting out his final wage with Man U. May not be much but every penny seems to count

Leipzig still haven't accepted any of the bids that have been lodged! Going all the way back to last year's Arsenal bids!

This is a Leipzig issue. Until they are happy and accept a bid, Sesko is not going anywhere.

They're all working together to get the biggest transfer fee, the biggest wage and the biggest signing-on fee they possibly can. Stringing it out for as long as possible ensures Leipzig, Sesko and his agent all make as much dollar possible.

What else are they supposed to do, they are bidding for the best talent available and they are choosing elsewhere.  I don't think the recruitment team re the issue, maybe taking too long. I'm sure we could sign many players but whether they would be successful is debatable and we can't afford to make a mistake due to our PSR restrictions.

Why would Sesko care about the fee Leipzig get?

Really boils my piss that the Sky 6 fans and media see these rejections as evidence that the North East just isn't an attractive place to live and that these young players are coming to their clubs because of their footballing heritage.

That's all fucking bullshit of course. These players are coming to these clubs mainly  because of the astronomical wages that the Sky 6 clubs can offer relative to the rest of the league. This disparity in wage structures has only exacerbated thanks to PSR, and it's the reason why the top 50 earners, bar two players, all play for one of the Sky 6 clubs.

So let's not kid ourselves here, Sesko isn't going to Manure because he adores Eric Cantona, and Moss Side reminds him of the French Riviera, he's going because if he kicks a ball about in rainy Manchester, him and his agents bank accounts will swell with £££

I'm saying they're all on the same page in so far as wanting to take away as much money as possible. Leipzig won't give a fuck about his Man U wage either but they all know if they play the game and drag it out they'll all benefit

The state of Sky.

Just had a German lad on. They told him their sources said he was leaning to Man Unted. He countered that the player has accepted both proposals so it's not possible to tell at the stage. They ignore that and went on to talk about him as a Man United signing

It's pretty obvious who's briefing them.
