When he does sign for Man U I just don’t see a world where a front 3 of Cunha, Šeško and Mbuemo doesn’t absolutely murder teams. If they add Baleba into the mix and Amorim’s style of play I think they’ll be right back up there.

True but the CM is very important. Without that they're still adding £200m of attack onto a very dodgy foundation.

It’s done Man Utd are just ironing out the details they were £5m apart do we really think Man Utd can’t close that gap

no but maybe their dithering will sufficiently annoy RB and player's camp to the point where we could make another swoop

not expecting that to happen, always said he'd go to MU where him and his agent I'm sure will make more money

Aye, also it still really feels like summer and I can't be bothered for football to come back yet. Start it in September.

That's not what I'm saying at all, if it's a done deal then why do we still have reps there, why not just leave the bid on the table and say come back to us if you change your mind? Why is it only reported that Man Utd feel they've won and not Sesko or his reps briefing the press?

I think if he had said he only wants man utd we'd of pulled out of the deal by now.

This is it for me and it only serves Man Utd more if they can convince us he's chosen them

Aye he had more than enough time to say yes to us, and he's still hoping Man U will match our bid so he can go there.

Brentford wanted £70m up front and we got him for £65m+£6m in performance based add-ons across 4 instalments, allowing us to keep a sizeable cash balance to go after Sesko/Baleba.

If that's what you call folding, then I guess we folded.

So you agreed a deal for more than the £70m Brentford asked for but in a better cash situation for yourselves?

Yeh you folded cos you're cash broke.

Has Sesko actually turned us down yet? what is taking so long

hypothetical question, if man u are already struggling to match our offer and that is the hold up, what if we put an extra 5 mill in?

It's not going to happen lads. No idea why we are still hanging around though. Hopefully to drive up the price so Manure pay too much.

I’m not even sure we are hanging around tbh
