Given the situation we're in, I'm all for the Forest approach, which is buy more than we need and trade away the ones that don't work out to meet PSR.

Our PSR problems were just as much from not selling as they were from buying too much.

If the worst comes to the worst, sell a chunk of the women's team. A double precedent has been set for doing so to create income.

Worthless selling the women’s team until they get into the WSL.

Hopefully next summer well be more successful as Liverpool, Man City and Man United wont be spending as much

I guess the question is, can we spend anything next summer? :yao:

Chelsea's and Villa's womens teams were sold on projected future value assuming women's football gets more and more popular.

What matters is the Chelsea and Aston Villa brands, not how much (actually little) money such womens' teams currently make.

Aston Villa women's average attendance is 3,400. They were valued at 245M, not far off what PIF spent on buying us (!!!)

De ligt and Maguire in both as CFs? Guaranteed goals

They'd have come closer than Gordon with the headers in our two games.

I don't trust him to stay on the pitch either, but Big Willy would have done better too.

We didn't want Strand Larsen but he's here now so well done. Welcome.

Well, we Strand a better chance of winning with him, so I welcome him as well at a purchase price that is grand Larseney.

Doubt it means anything if he doesn’t come on tbh, they won’t have any ambition to stay in the cup.

Still a big thing though. If he is brought on. It makes it worse for us as he would be cup tied. If they bring him on it shows it’s not likely or close to happen.

Fleet Street will be abuzz if we take a Chance on Strand. Will Geordies be back to Trafalgar Square?

Isak thought he was completing on a dream move to Liverpool Street station. It all seemed nailed on until he landed on Water Works and paid the ultimate price. Within three rolls he was bankrupt and in jail. The only positive is it has free parking for his G-Wagon
