At this point I’d seriously be ok with not signing another striker if it means Liverpool not getting Isak. Yeah I know we need one more striker but if Isak can’t be reintegrated there’s always the January window.

If he’s here on Tuesday he’s reintegrated. It’s the way of things. Unless he wants to torch his career and his already questionable character.

Three teams with strikers on strike now. 😂

Really not in favour of it, even if 2 of them are trying to come here. It's really shit.

Also regarding JSL, I know he was on loan for a year but the ink's still wet on his permanent contract. Proper smelly behaviour.

I’m not really a fan of players doing this either tbh. However clubs hardly cover themselves in glory. There was an Athletic podcast about bomb squads this week, where unwanted players under contract are kept away from the rest of the team, training out of substandard training rooms and at a different time of day. Also pretty shitty behaviour. We weren’t exactly kicking up a fuss at the treatment of Fraser, Hendrick or Hayden.

Fraser brought it on himself pissing Eddie off for a 2nd time.

How were Hendrick & Hayden treat badly? We continued to pay them good wages and found loan moves for them every year.

Think this is being overpushed by a Liverpool / Isak leaning media. All of the above three were highly compensated in line with their contracts. The club didn’t renege on them. It is a meritocracy as it should be. And as other industries and professions should be.

We’ve had plenty of players who’ve been frozen out over the years. It was more a general point about clubs anyway.
