Played well overall, can't really complain about the performance. Pretty proud of how we defended and stuck at it against a very good team. Had the chances to win the game but didn't take them. Losing on the night to a goal from a player who shouldn't really be in the game, mental that they can just throw a load of money at a player who's already played in the competition and slot him in for the semis. Ramsey and Hall stood out as having particularly strong games. A bit worried about Wissa though who wasn't good at all. Conceding late on AGAIN is fucking annoying, cos whilst it would have been tough at their place where they seem to get every single rub of the green going every time we go there, whether we play well or not, we may as well not bother going there with a 2 goal deficit to claw back. That said it should have been worse with the mad VAR decision. City are the most boring thing in the world. Sick of the bastards and their ability to spend whatever, get rules changed for them, be dull as fuck, create next to nowt and still manage to win. Fuck them, their weird bald manager and their mostly shit fan base. Just had that feeling of a game too far, sadly. Onwards to Wolves and thankfully nearly a week to rest up before it.
