So many chances though. Played well but not clinical

Still our issue at times. Im not entirely convinced by Woltemade or Wissa but both still have time.

Disappointing result naturally, i'm not disappointed in the performance though, it was a really competitive and cagey game where the fine margins went their way and not ours. That said I think you could really see towards the end of that game that we had played 215 minutes of football in the last 6 days, we looked really leggy.

That disallowed goal was scandalous btw, it benefitted us, but by fuck would I be fuming if that was given the other way.

We look like scoring only inasmuch as the chances are good but knowing these players and this season I've got little faith in them being scored. Its an absolute slog for us to bludgeon a goal.

Club with all the money in the world that were allowed to spend it beats club with all the money in the world that aren’t.

In terms of good chances etc I thought it was fairly even overall. Was a pretty good performace, especially considering they have better players and basically had a training game midweek.

They took their couple of chances, we missed ours. Kind of the opposite to last year.

He’s been playing football for a couple of decades at least, it’s baffling.

Literally kicks it like an under 7, unimaginably shit

If that Bruno shot that hits the post goes in, who knows? Fine margins in these games as we found out last year; Martinelli hits the post and then we go up the other end and score 90 seconds later. Funny how football works

I thought we played well there and should've won it.

I'm quite angry at Wissa, that was diabolical. His left foot is non-existent which is inexcusable for a striker. At least hit the target.

Also, its mental that given the amount of games we've played, that this the first time we've not scored at home this season.

Can't fault the effort and I think it's right to feel hard done by. I thought Peps teams were supposed to be pure football and never descend to the dark arts /s

I love Wolte's skill and effort but my word does he need to start shooting rather than looking to lay it off every time. He'd be something else with that in his locker too.

We were running on fumes for the last 20 mins of normal time. They had more control, more options off the bench and tactically neutralised pretty much aside from maybe 2 good chances.

We had some half chances but never in control of them.

Trafford did well for them. Shot stopping and can kick/pass. Very obvious what we’re missing there.

As ever can’t fault the effort, just outgunned tonight.

What game were you watching? City were clearly the better team.
