Whether we play brilliantly, terribly or a mixed bag, they'll bore the tits off everyone passing it about the back, score 2 out of the 3 chances they create in the game, absolutely nowt will drop our way and we'll lose to nil. It's the Etihad.

Now get that Carabao Cup out of my sight.

Not that I would've had any confidence going into this down 0-1, but that last minute goal from Cherki really threw a wet towel on this second leg.

How many would play a weakened team in this ? Feels the most sensible thing to do, but it’s a semi final, if we can get an early goal you just never know.

I absolutely would but no chance Howe does, he's not wired that way

Our best chance in this tie was to take a lead going to the Etihad

We could go full strength, go all guns blazing and still most likely get knocked out and then come Saturday we will be knackered

Heavy rotation and prioritise Saturday for me

Full strength and go for it. It would never be in my mindset to do anything else. Every game is for winning.

We're one big performance from getting to the final so Howe won't entertain conceding it and nor would I advocate that. We've every right to go for it; it's our fucking trophy we're defending. Just cos the UEFA Cunt's League for Cunts and NUFC has a totally ridiculous schedule doesn't mean we should have to jack in the opportunity to win a domestic competition.

Don't get me wrong, I've virtually no optimism that we'll win, but in the matter of 'should we go for it?' Of course we should.

this iteration of City is levels below their prime levels. put them under pressure, press them and they will panic. that said we shouldnt have lost by two goals in 1st leg and was almost three to be fair. we were very poor just as vs Liverpool.

even a poor Spurs side upped the tempo with their 10 injured players in 2nd half vs them yesterday and almost overturned it from 2-0 down.

but to be fair I wont be very surpised if we go out here losing both legs. PSG and Liverpool games must have taken lot out of Howe and players and the ask of going into Carabao final after that 1st leg is unreal...

more worried about Brentford game who will sit back all week, relax, plan their game against us and probably giddy that with a win they can step away 6 points from us. and they jut beat Villa even with red card.
