[LCSF 2nd leg] Manchester City vs. Newcastle United (2-0 agg.): 4/2/26 @ 20:00 (Sky Sports)

If we went full intensity/pressing/shithousing Howe for this I’d fancy us to give it a good go.

Impossible to predict what team or version of the players we’ll get. Feels a bit of a free hit, similar to the PSG game.

Miley and Bruno unlikely to make the squad.

Miley now injured!?

ffs we've just lost Bruno and Joe in the last 3 games

our midfielders are dropping like flies during our busiest period of the season

typical really

I know we’ll fully go for it which is exciting but unfortunately I can’t see anything more than a plucky performance resulting in a draw. Who knows though. Going through against all odds would be amazing!

Good job we signed adequate backup in the just closed window... 🤣

I think we’ll give another good account of ourselves here but I just can’t see an outcome where we manage knock 3 or more past these without conceding ourselves. No Guehi is a boost but they’ve already shafted us with Semenyo being able to play so you’ll excuse me if I’m not over the moon

I really want to see Osula start tomorrow.

Other than that, the game is a write off for me.

You'll be giving it a miss then aye?

Similar vibes to the PSG game in that there's not really a lot to lose so you can imagine we might take a few chances with either formation or personnel. I always look forward to that, even if it doesn't pan out how I might wish.

Shackles off, expected loss, no pressure, you know we're going to go hell for leather, at the very least it'll be an entertaining game to watch, I have no idea why but I do have a glimmer of hope for this

Can't help feel we should be giving the second string a run out here and resting our main players only bringing them on later if there's something to defend/play for.

Not a popular view I know but we've just come off the back of PSG Away and Liverpool Away. Upcoming Brentford and Spurs in the PL are essentially must win if we want to save our PL season and then we've got CL after that.

At some point you have to accept you can't give 100% every game with this schedule and prioritise. Starting 2 down away to Man City doesn't sound like the time for it.

Aye lets play the kids so we can have a tilt at the Conference

This is the irony of it all.

In the Premier League we're 14 gruelling matches away from a possible Europa spot.

In the Carabao Cup we're two.
