If it does come down to that and they look to sell him, I'd imagine that Guehi would then be much more open to joining them. Seems they'd also consider Guehi, although he's a bit older than they'd prefer, if the fee is lower, as it would be too good and opportunity to turn down. But it sounds like he'd possibly just rundown his contract at Palace instead and leave on a free next summer, because he too wants a certainty of his playing time with the World Cup coming up next year.

How much have Villa sold theirs? Your opinion is based on assumptions not fact. Your suggesting we do something based on others, where as we might have a set of different circumstances. 1. Chelsea’s womens team have won the wsl the past 5 years. 2. Villa finished 6th in the wsl, and have been in the wsl since 20/21. 3. We finished 5th in the Championship, and have been in that league for 1 season only. Is it worth it selling the womens team at the moment when its value is low? Is it not more prudent to wait amd see how much villa have sold theirs? Or untill we in the WSL?
