In fairness to that mackem caller, I don't think he was right in what he said about us but he did immediately change the subject and start talking about his own team again. I'm giving props for that if nothing else.
-
Following Ashworth logic that he said club should do last summer. Sign Premier League based players, and a Premier League based manager. After the fuck up with the latter potentially, Wilcox / Berrarda to act like the transfer approach was their intended approach.
-
There are risks every time you step onto the field but this is different in that it's completely avoidable. How many completely avoidable (and potentially life-threatening) injuries would need to happen before you felt differently? Anyway, you're framing this as if I'm arguing it's the only reason to bin VAR on offsides. I'm not, I'm saying add it to all the other reasons.

Wouldn't surprise me if he got crocked as a result of Caicedo leaving one on him. Seemed to be struggling for quite a while after that tackle.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)
AyeDubbleYoo replied to Rich's topic in Football
Thank you for your sacrifice. -
He was on 5Live the other day and he is usually ok'ish on there. I listed to a lot of their football podcasts. He sticks up for NUFC and gives a bit more of an insightful response about the club compared to the usual pundit rubbish. But my God, he is such an insufferable bellend and this week was next level. Wanted to smash my phone to bits on the dog walk

Without Googling Arsenal's current strip to remind myself what it looks like, that new one looks barely any different. Juve's looks rank on the pics above. Looks way better when its actually being worn though, the pink stripes are class: River Plate getting the adidas stripes wrapped around the sleeves, though.

No I wouldn't want him sold. He's put his head down after being dropped and works his arse off. Doubt there's many under 21 players with as many goal contributions as him over the last few years as well. Minimum £50-60m though if it was to happen otherwise it wouldn't be entertained.
-
I hope that it's just something minor and he can get back in time for a full pre-season. Seems like he hasn't been properly fit and at his very best since September 2023, or whenever it was when he first got this knee injury.
-
Tindall definitely doesn't anymore, or at least certainly isn't planning on doing so forever. He has a house in Gosforth.
-
Pretty impressive signings for a lower table team tbf.
-
How much do you think you could get for Garnacho? And would you like to see him sold?
-
needs a knee transplant from Demba Ba.
-
Zero chance of Semenyo and Cunha unless Garnacho is being sold.
-
Didn’t realise Tindall and Purches commute from Bournemouth
-
Semenyo and Delap a bit underwhelming imo
-
I hope it is something we are looking at. As I feel the team lacks a bit of craft and guile. Also because it would mean Isak scoring 50 a season
-
On loan with Citeh paying his wages? Yeah, ok. I think the lad has come good from being a bit questionable in his earlier years. The full Jamie Tartt redemption cycle, if you will.
-
Delap, Semenyo (not sure why as Amad is basically your second best player… unless you’re selling him for fat PSR cash) and Cunha would be some window like
-
Juventus kit is awful.
-
If Eddie and his team thought for one second that playing Isak through an injury was even a remote risk to his long term fitness he'd be nowhere near a pitch. Injured Isak still offers goals and amazing link up play, sure he can't take a man on or press as much as usual and he's struggling to create anything for himself but his ability to create for others and get into positions means he's still a better choice than Wilson and Osula.
-
Clean that, I like them. Fuck Arsenal though.
-
If true hopefully that gives us somewhat of a free run for Mbeumo. Offer them 50m + 10m (if we make the CL the season after next)
