Wouldn’t it be £12m base cost from July onwards
-
I imagine it’ll all be down to him having absurd wage expectations. Howe obviously liked him but he is probably worth wages at a third of what he wants

“Representing the hopes and dreams of our city and of supporters everywhere is something we never take for granted. It is a constant motivator for us, and we will be doing everything within our power to achieve something special together – with you and for you.” Eddie Howe 🖤🤍

Not really, looks like the Reuben brothers have recently created an Instagram account and their profile is showing the companies in their portfolio.

When can we expect the first sunderland/Dortmund/FTM «football friends» flag?

Gordon gets a start. I know I said last time never again but surely it will be better this time? Right?

The future’s bright, the future’s black and white. -
It's summertime, so nothing else to talk about than the modern day Bas Dost, the stadium.
-
While the PL "Big 6" try and create these guard rails to fuck over clubs like ours, Forest and Villa -- Barca, Paris and Madrid are quietly scooping up elite talent across Europe for insanely low fees and paying massive wages on top of that.
-
Are Bournemouth going to have enough players left for next season? They seem to be taking a battering sadly.
-
Gordon has looked sensational there at times; it really does seem like an attitude thing with him. Recall he started wide right v Arsenal at home. Isak is good wherever he plays tbh.

Assuming the £20m was correct and any deal happens after 1st July then you can also take into account the amortisation for 25/26 as it's a hit if he stays or goes and you've got a years wages saved from the p&l. So overall the loss in 25/26 is of a base cost of around £10m None of this applies before the end of June!
-
I think after the season he’s had, the 30m fee is quite reasonable. We’ll be getting one of the best goalkeepers in the league if it comes off. Pope will push him if he stays.. but his kicking will ultimately see him as the backup eventually. We could potentially have a full back line that are regular England international starters. Some change from the Ashley years.

Could even be that Pope plays all League cup/fa cup games early rounds. -
We will play 50+ games next season. Pope will still get 20 games you would think through rotation.

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup

Yep but for the 9th. Not sure we’d pick 2 Spanish clubs 🤷🏼♂️ -
He's an odious, narcissistic twat who shouldn’t have been anywhere near this club, given his previous position was at League One Southampton. He's just a younger Joe Kinnear and every bit as undeserving of the position he found himself in, purely because our owner was an equally odious twat that anyone with any self respect didn’t want to work for.
-
Why? 99.9% sure he doesn’t know anything. Never mind what JP is open to
-
I'd probably take the opposite approach and start him as number 1 as he'd be coming in off the back of an amazing season at Burnley and getting a big move so you'd expect his confidence to be sky high and we'd still have a brilliant keeper to fall back on if his confidence did drop. That's obviously reliant on Pope being happy to stay on as number 2, which he might not be as he's still one of the top keepers in the league. Either way I think Trafford's a good signing
