Or they were just arrogant enough to think they are the biggest club in the world and nobody should leave them.
-
Fair point, I suppose everyone will have an opinion on what suits them best. That's only natural.

They all very quickly ended up with the Not Interested option being selected for me, the only Youtube channels worth watching are ACFC and 4-4-2

Think it became an issue because current ST holders who hadn't been bothered to attend away games previously suddenly decided they wanted to go but found out it was a closed shop so demanded change, which is what's happened, well to suit them anyway. The current system is outdated and fundamentally flawed. I very much doubt there's another club in world football that in 2025 gives you a credit for an away game you lent your season ticket to someone for in 1994. On one hand they can't say they want to grow the fanbase, push International memberships etc, if they're making 50% of all games 100% inaccessible to the majority of the fanbase they are determined to grow! Back in the day, I'm talking late 80s here, your ST got you reduced admission for all home league games, plus first refusal on any home cup games. Away games were a separate entity altogether. Early 90s seen clubs really push ST sales and a design ticket boom ensued. They added the extra perks of loyalty points, away game priority etc but nowadays most the big clubs are making serious money on memberships (cost of memberships plus what members spend on tickets) and the 1990s ST culture is being reversed now clubs know memberships are more lucrative so in time I do expect members to get access to away tickets and that's as it should be. Doesn't really affect me now anyway as away days don't interest me much these days.

His returns were very poor - a pure case of Juve being in crisis which filtered into the XI Think they have bought him outright now
-
100% not, that's not the way at all. You should only get the point if YOU attend the away fixture. Those that travelled to away games on other peoples season tickets, it does beg the question as to why they didn't have their own season ticket. They were pretty cheap during the Ashley years and the away loyalty points dropped right down for almost every away game. There was always plenty available too over the years. The away ticket system is never going to please everyone unfortunately. But in my opinion, the current way is the fairest way and rewards those that actually attend away games these days, not those that used to just buy the tickets and sell them on with no intention of attending the game. The fact this has only become an issue the last few seasons since we've been pretty successful, speaks volumes in my opinion.

British cities in general I feel are terrible for green spaces in their cities compared to our European counterparts for example.
-
Is Hyde Park a joke to you?
-
It's still on the edge of the city centre. The northern English cities just don't have meaningful green spaces in their urban centres in my experience. Leeds and Manchester in particular are God awful concrete jungles imo.
-
If they’re going to sort of out some kind of loyalty/hierarchical structure for members, they need to do have it sorted for home tickets, before worrying about away tickets. Waste of time trying to sort something sensible when you’ve got ~3k tickets available, if you can’t get even get it done when there’s ~20k available. Once you got it working for home tickets, by all means look into what can be done regarding away tickets.

Tuchel values experience far more than I thought he would tbh. While that's not a bad thing in itself, if you overdo it, it leaves you lacking in pace and spark in key areas.
-
They are prepared to take more risks tbf. Happy to throw in the wonderkids far earlier than we would, as a result those kids have good reason to choose them over bigger clubs who might not give them much game time.

I think a radish. He has quite a thin neck, much like the radish root. And he does have Barry from Auf Weidersehen Pet vibes sometimes. I'd like to see him really angry, I imagine he'd go a similar colour too.
-
His Spanish was impressive, but this move has been in the offing for a long time, he's had a long time to learn. Understand why Liverpool fans are pissed at him running his contract down tbh. He really strung them along.
-
You're joking of course? Exhibition park?

I think the fact Trafford obviously won't want another season with Burnley in the Premier League is a big factor in this saga. He won't want to tarnish the reputation he rebuilt last season by staying with them. The problem will be that we aren't the only ones who will want to sign him, unlike last summer.
-
Brighton are annoying. Literally any wonderkid and they’re all over him. used to be my go-to strategy on FM tbf but it’s annoying in real life leave some for the rest of us

I really can't be arsed with England tbh. Southgate was boring as hell, but he had good young players and generally played them in the right position. Team spirit was great and all Tuchel had to do was take thjhe handbrake off and let them do what they are good at. Instead we've got a 35 year old past it Walker, a 35 year old past it Henderson and a team that have no idea what their tactics are or what the idea is. Kane is scoring goals but his legs are gone and will struggle at the world cup. I am seriously not optimistic.
-
Aren’t season ticket holders the ones who don’t protest- because they’re weak and morally corruptible?
-
Maignan Is 29, while not old for a goalkeeper it doesn’t reduce the squad age like what was an objective. Trafford is the one if we’re going domestic.
-
I can already see headlines like "Sour Kraut" coming our way when he inevitably fails.
-
Don't trust American ownership one little bit.

It was @TBG who dropped this little doozy into the cup final thread and it still creases me
