  1. Past hour
  2. He's had success playing the likes of Rio Ave, Santa Clara, Estoril and Gil Vacente each week. He's going to continue to tank in the PL. He doesn't have the foggiest how to be competitive in a league where nearly every team can beat you at home if you're not playing the opposition and just trying the same tired thing over and over.
  3. Also every manager in the league will know exactly how to play against him already, as he only has one system. You've already seen it happen, they just get shafted every week.
  4. I also think the fact he's so willing to fall on his sword seems like he knows he's made a mistake and is almost daring them to sack him so it releases him from it all. Even a poor coach can take what he's given and go someway towards changing it and making it work. This fucker has walked in and almost said - "this isn't exactly what I need. I need to a complete blank canvas or you may as well get rid of me". He's had a go at changing it but he's failed and I think he knows it too. It seems like it's just damage limitation at this point
  5. We’ll win on Sunday. Villa will thump Man U, they’re absolute cannon fodder to Villa’s strengths. City will get something at Fulham. I fancy Chelsea to beat Forest but that could be a very nervous game for both teams. Forest will sit back, Chelsea will have loads of possession and fanny around. At some point if it’s goalless one of them will need to roll the dice.
  6. Forest and Chelsea draw then a draw for us would mean we finish above both of them. We lose and one of those 2 won then the winner would finish above us and we'd be relying on Villa to lose....i think.
  7. I think the issue is this is the first time he's struggled in his managerial career, he's had instant success wherever he's been before and he's struggling to figure out what is wrong or change to something else. He'll need results asap next season, I suspect he's been told to fix the fundamentals behind the scenes instead of the paper fixes they've been doing since fergie left. I'm absolutely astonished at how they left themselves with only hojlund as a striker for this season.
  8. Literally a rat trying to get off the sinking ship
  9. Also I just don't think we need a shouty, heed the baal type in there. Work rate isn't our issue, never has been under Eddie Howe and never will be.
  10. You’re rewarding the team that won the Europa League. You may as well say that when West Ham won the FA Cup in 1980 you can’t reward a Second Division team with a place in Europe, or when Wigan won it and got relegated “you can’t reward them etc”. That’s what it’s a reward for. Where they finished in the league is irrelevant. I quite liked that the winner of the Europa got into the CL tbh, well before we did it. I prefer it to the top four/five teams in the top four/five leagues. Again, that’s the root cause of the problem,
  11. We just need to win. Just one game. Just a measly 3 points is all we need. It’s not even asking for much.
  12. I agree, Trippier comes across a better captain on the field but you can't just say someone is a poor captain because you don't see them shouting at and bollocking their team mates throughout the game. There's many different approaches to being an effective leader. It's all about respect for me and I reckon he commands respect from every one of those players.
  13. It's only if we draw it matters, right? If we lose, one of them will go above us. If we draw, and their game ends in a draw, we're above both of them and get CL. If either of them win, they go above us.
  14. about spurs or man u tbh
  15. Worked for Julio Iglesias.
  16. To be fair, it's cup football...of sorts anyway. They were in it due to how they did last season. Doesn't really matter what you do in the league. This is a different competition. Top league teams don't always win the cups. Palace for example. When I was a kid 2nd division (championship) teams like Southampton, West Ham and even that lot down the road won the FA cup.
  17. Trippier’s been a brilliant captain. That doesn’t make Bruno a poor one.
  18. I’ve no problem with Spurs qualifying for the Champions League as a result of winning the Europa. It’s been that way for many years. It is ridiculous to have 6 English teams in it though.

Our last but one domestic trophy
  20. He isnt someone who can organise, direct, bollock others like for example Tripper does. Feel like Trippier is a better on field captain than Bruno though but thats just me.

    sunderland

Remind me of the story of a Sunderland couple getting married, and at the reception they wanted toast and sandwiches as everyone was in ta bread.
  22. What do you believe he does that you consider to be 'poor' in terms of the captaincy?
