    Sandro Tonali

Pretty much my thoughts on the matter. Hatem will always be my GOAT, but this lad isn’t far behind.
  3. Def was poor but was disappointed by the fan reaction to him, not helpful at all.
  4. I’ve not been this invested in a player since Hatem.
  5. Big game player. NUFC legend.
  6. this is not a free hit. we nearly lost to leicester at home last time we qualified for the UCL.
  7. Plenty of moans and groans aimed at him yesterday. He'll be back on the list shortly.
  8. I'm always of the opinion 50% of chance creation is the strikers own positioning, movement & anticipation. Man Utd have one of the most creative players in the league. Hojlund doesn't receive any chances because his own movement and anticipation isn't good enough.
  9. GK: Sels RB: Munoz CB: VVD CB: Gvardiol LB: Kerkez RW: Salah CM: Palmer CM: Rice CM: Bruno LW: Schade ST: Isak Disclaimer: I haven't watched every minute of every game.
  10. If they’ve got any sense they’ll get Glasner in before emorim can do too much damage.
  11. Was just thinking I can only think of one ref I don’t think is a fucking idiot and he’s not allowed to do our games.
  12. Whilst I think Hojlund is a dud, it's not because he misses boatloads of chances, they just don't seem to create him anything. If they can get hold of a more traditional winger in the mould of a Jacob Murphy, I think Delap would do 15+ league goals nae bother even in Man U's current state. He's managed a dozen in that doomed Ipswich side.

Coventry score first and it's exactly even again. (although a slight obstacle to that was their Friday performance..... )
  14. You’ll need far more than just a striker in the summer
  15. That’s the spirit. Sandro needs to learn some of that.
  16. Fucking pathetic from Bristol City, that. Is that all the Champo has to offer? Relegated PL sides will be cleaning up the automatic promotion spots for years at this rate.
  17. Well, you did splash some cash on Zirkzee in the summer but don't know what the intentions were back then, if not to help Hojlund. Aye, he is a different type of forward and still young but can't just forget him for that. He was a zero gurantees sugning for sure though.
  18. I mean you're better placed than me but I think you're about 2-3 years from being anywhere near CL level again. I think you need a real overhaul and to really out faith in Amorim or similar for the duration of that 2 to 3 years as well. You need a new culture around the club and less jonny-come-lately, mercenary wankers and more people who simply want to grasp an opportunity to play for Man United with two hands and really excel. I reckon Hojlund will be alreet in time, it's more building the spine and then fleshing it out. New keeper and CB potentially.
  19. I'd have big Dan in their. His goalward headers are like Brazilian free kicks. Tries like a bear every minute of every match too. Love the guy.
  20. Kepa Munoz - Saliba - Murillo - Robinson Rodgers - Tonali - Mac Allister Salah - Isak - Mbuemo Bit annoying Mbuemo is out of position but needs must. Turns out there’s few particularly good RBs at the moment too, was not aware.

Lad at work has already got his hotel booked down in London, he keeps blaming the Trafalgar Square parties on the poor support at the previous matches, apparently all the lads had too much to drink and drunk the place dry. He's a nice lad but proper daft when he puts his sunderland glasses on.
  22. I think a good one might alleviate some of them. Don't think Delap is the answer though. Proper world class strikers like Kane, Lewandowski, Isak, Mbappe etc. are miles out of our reach now. Players like Ekitike and Sesko have big price tags and zero guarantees. Genuinely no idea who we can get that could make a difference right away. I just know we can't have another season with Hojlund as the starter.

You never know, Cov pinch an early goal and the natives could well get restless. A red card for them, or a lucky break for the opposition and the whole house of cards easy comes tumbling down. I do think they'll make it to "Wembo" for a shoeing off of Sheffield United, but the way they're going on before this second leg is like they're sat on a three or four goal cushion.
  24. Might work, but Burn could still need a keeper behind him.
