    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Howe and his inner circle are the ones leading negotiations. Moving quickly doesn't mean just paying whatever clubs ask for, we will still have a budget in place after all. The speed factor was more regarding PIF sign off on the deal once an agreement was in place from all parties. If you recall, this was previously an issue that was mentioned. However, we haven't even agreed with the selling clubs yet, to then go to PIF for their final sign off. Think we just need to let Howe and his guys work through their list of targets. There's been a fair bit of concern about only going for Prem targets, well the way things are going, we'll soon have to pivot to targets abroad, and so people will get what they want. Don't believe for a second we don't have other options outside the Prem. Nickson has always been strong in that area, and there will be other options that he would have presented to Howe and discussed with him. It won't be the same as it was with Mitchell last year, where there was less reception to the targets he was maybe presenting, because there was no relationship and trust there yet.

  4. Think Delap was value and opportunity led. Similar to Tino, Pope, Trippier, Barnes and others. Probably Trafford too. Hall too - he fit the position but was probably not ideal age wise for the circumstances but it was then or never. So we did it.
  5. Liverpool's known for not paying big wages. Konate's on 80k a week. Only Salah and VVD get 400k. After that, it's Wirtz at 200k the rest are around 160 to 120. I reckon he's gone this summer, or he'll leave for free next year, with Madrid sniffing around. It will be interesting to see how Liverpool handle this situation.

Won't buy our deadwood, but will stop Juggernaut AFC from signing players?
  7. They season really is defined by their start. They need to pick up points if not they are fucked.
  8. Certainly he can replace Wilson? We need bodies in, and DCL coming in to replace totally useless Wilson is a start. Of course we need a good RW more than that, but we can't buy them all now.
  9. Nah he’s pure mackems. That’s his level. Don’t think the people for this realise how bad he is in 2025.

  11. Don't think Liverpool have said that. They offered him a new contract a few days ago. Don't think they've announced no further negotiations are taking place and they have transfer listed him. If it does come down to that and they look to sell him, I'd imagine that Guehi would then be much more open to joining them. From that tweet it sounds like he's not as keen at the minute, as Konate and VDV already have an established partnership at the back.
  12. DCL stinks of Leeds. Hope we go nowhere near him.
  13. No way we sign DCL it would be a fucking awful signing.
  14. Yes. Yes it does. And I dont hate them per say, but I hate their attitude towards life being about capital. Cost of everything and value of nothing. Football is a for people and their clubs. It's not for yuppies with a coke habit.
  15. Looks like DCL is available.
  16. Its such a shame Chelsea got CL as they would have dropped away eventually and people would have stopped joining them. At some point they are going to run into issues as what they are doing is not sustainable adn there are only so many things they can sell.
  17. Isn't he leaving this summer since he turned down a new contract and has a year left?
  18. Saw someone in a Davey Gate special of our yet to be officially confirmed away in Durham this afternoon, sadly wasn't quick enough with the camera. But yeah thats nice, scouse cunts
  19. And I forgot to mention all the money she wasted on hiring that prissy Southern relegation specialist from Bournemouth when the club already had a Proper Football Manager who Knew The Club and was One of Our Own.
  20. Appears we got the SHIT trefoil too. Not happy.
  21. Appears Liverpool get this cracker of a green shirt while we get that wavy ‘it’s the Tyne bridge honest’ pish

Echo that, really nice lad and very accommodating to a few who wanted pictures. Gone are the days of players parking their cars in the side of the swing bridge 😂

Are Saudis Mags or are Mags Saudis?
  24. Looks like they are ideally after a younger centre back with a decent amount of experience, to add to their rotation group. However, the ones they want, want more regular playing time than Liverpool are willing to guarantee, because it's likely to be Konate and Van Dijk starting still. This was the reason Quansah wanted to leave, as he wanted more first team playing time, and so they let him go, but added in the buy back clause, because they still wanted the option to bring him back in future if he develops as expected. Seems they'd also consider Guehi, although he's a bit older than they'd prefer, if the fee is lower, as it would be too good and opportunity to turn down. But it sounds like he'd possibly just rundown his contract at Palace instead and leave on a free next summer, because he too wants a certainty of his playing time with the World Cup coming up next year.
  25. In fact, why not just buy a load of completely shit players and stick it all on our best manager in decades to fix it. It'll at least be a test as to whether Howe is any good after all and I'm all up for that kind of prankster window.
