  2. We're elite - tell us something we don't know.
  3. It’s a mercenary industry and always was - there is no such thing as loyalty in football and hasn’t been since the dawn of professionalism
  4. The great thing is we won’t know any of the other results because you can’t get a signal in SJP.
  5. SteV

    Callum Wilson

Of course, but it probably comes down to how it’s expressed I suppose (even though that probably comes across as a bit thin-skinned). “I think it’s probably time for him to move on” feels a lot different to “wish he would just fuck off”.
  6. aye thanks @Magpie good craic as always Bournemouth 3-1 Leicester Fulham 2-3 Man City Ipswich 1-1 West Ham Liverpool 2-0 Palace Man United 0-2 Villa Newcastle 4-1 Everton Forest 2-1 Chelsea Southampton 0-3 Arsenal Spurs 1-2 Brighton Wolves 1-1 Brentford
  7. Holloway

    Anthony Gordon

He stays down too long, yes I've noticed. As for going down, Bruno draws multiple fouls every game,he's a master at it, but his attitude doesn't get questioned does it ? But my point here was more to do with people saying he wasn't fully applying himself since his move to Liverpool fell through, judged on his performances since, are talking bollocks. And if you think there was no pile on as I mentioned, have a look at the match thread, it's an embarrassment. Anyway, I have no more to add so I'll leave it be .
  8. I don't think it matters, Man United were called United through their dominant years under Sir Alex, it was a thing that stuck for that generation, nobody refers to Leeds as United either, nor do people call Bradford City, "City", but if someone says City now, most people will think of Man City. Four decades I've supported Newcastle, I'm mid 40s, nobody really calls us United, nor do they call Leeds "United", there's 14 teams with united, Sheffield United seem to be the first if were being truly pedantic
  9. Troll in what way? MLS is ahead of multiple international players for club and is capped for England. From LB you can see his playstyle already. Aggressive (too much sometimes), ball carrier/dribbler and he tries to make stuff happen on the ball. Im still figuring out what kind of player Miley is. He’s a composed and tidy passer but what else? He doesn’t stamp his authority on the game to the extent MLS does
  10. Is it weird that he reminds me of Bruce a bit? Personality wise. In the way he responds to this type of question and in other instances how he behaves. Anyway, must be weird being a spurs fan today. They'll probably be sick of this guy. Desperate to see him gone, but desperate to win this one.
  11. JP

    Callum Wilson

I think there is a difference when a player is coming into the twilight of his career like Wilson? Its obvious for all parties that this summer is the one he leaves. Don't think thats disloyal as a fan to think so.
  12. I'm sure the £50-100m they'll get during the World Club Cup will soften the blow. Could always withdraw from that if he's worried about it.
  13. Probably not. so removed, also noticed there was a contradiction in the logic - so amended as below - think it right - but happy to be corrected.

  15. Do you need the feedback loop between losing to Everton and beating Everton?
  16. Wonderful to do such a thing as in working it all out - but being pedantic - here's the actual flow - should always be top to bottom - but not as good as the original -
