Howe has previously said every window that we are skint because of PSR tbf, where as this window he's said PSR isn't the issue it was for us.
-
I have mates who support Arsenal. They are the biggest whingers I know by far. When Isak scored in the LC it absolutely broke them. Emirates is a shit away day as well.
-
Agreed, makes for very entertaining reading on twitter mind
-
Which makes sense they don't sell the best players they have until they are over the hill. See RVP. Arsenal fans are such weirdos. Imagine us selling Isak and blasting about our record sale being 100m + Small club mentality.
-
Had 3 windows of folk on here telling us everything is fine and just wait, laughing and mocking those who in little hindsight were right to be concerned. Just have to wait and see, but starting to feel familiar.
-
They are just meaning in general I think, I think their record sale is 35 million from a few years back.
-
Morning from the sunny south Have a look at the attached I am pretty sure that UEFAs definition mentions that you can’t or shouldn’t make deductions for impairment of intangibles( players transfer costs ) are swept up in intangibles) but my point is that whilst we know that amortisation isn’t a deductible it doesn’t say in the rule book that impairments aren’t Thoughts ?
-
Which player are they referring? I know they suffer from delusional but the fact they got good money for an over hyped crock and someone who specialised in scoring in the league cup is beyond me.
-
Arsenal fans would disagree with you, they are giving their board abuse online about being poor sellers
-
One-time Newcastle player Stuart Lindsay has joined Hearts on loan.
-
I've seen absolutely zero evidence to justify Quansah being worth £40m. Looks really indecisive every time I see him play
-
If any sunderland, or football fan in general, genuinely believes that anybody - player, coach or executive staff - would seriously choose sunderland over Newcastle in 2025 needs their head examined.
-
See what happens? Tell them not to bother. I can already tell them what will happen...and that is absolutely fuck all!
-
Let’s be honest lads and lasses, the vast majority of the time that’s been wasted on this failed transfer is the billions of millions of hours the N-O transfer nonces have spent pontificating about Guehi in this here thread and the Transfer Rumours thread There’s an important life lesson to be learnt, once the dust settles and Liverpool have their man
-
Feels like we're hitting a bit of a wall. Especially seeing the Guehi to Liverpool links now. We need top 6-ready players but the rest of the top 6 also want these players and can offer more money, while still having that bit more prestige than us at the moment. I know last season was a shite league one but I'm still including Spurs in that bracket. 15 years leading up to it their average position is likely between 4-5th and they now have CL again. It stinks.
-
Transfer Window beginning to feel like a NFL Draft except the best teams, with the help of PSR, get to make several first picks. We feel very much waiting in the wings hoping there are still some of our targets available.
- Today
-
Bet this guy pushes for Chiesa. Their fans will laud it up, then he’ll be injured for majority of season.
-
Idk, he's a "top 6" fluffer. He probably agreed to sell Guehi to one of them last summer and to just string us along / talk shit about us in public. Totally fine with us not getting Guehi. Kinda short for a CB, too religious to wear the rainbow colors and scores own goals for fun
-
It's a silly comment. They won the fa cup and qualified for Europe and maintained their place on the gravy train. Massive win for Parish and Palace and vindicates them.
-
They did win the FA cup. Not sure they would have won without Guehi.
-
Only if you look at the evidence
-
The valuation will be boosted with free money for PSR because they are doing swapsies with Leverkusen. We should do it with someone. Since its the Guehi thread, Guehi for Willock if that rumour (possibly singular) about Palace interest has any substance. If Liverpool do get Guehi, its a step down from VVD. Expect even more joy against them from corners.
-
I think being players that have featured for long-term successful clubs like Liverpool also immediately inflates the price, even if the player isnt that great. Its like they get 10-20 mill more just for featuring for a top 6 side.
