  1. Past hour
  2. Think he was very annoyed with Pope for (I’m guessing he didn’t) not getting a ‘man on’ call.
  3. Plus we are capable of beating all 3 teams. 2 homers and we've already beaten Arse away. Nothing to fear, all to play for. In Eddie we trust!
  4. He’s been one of the best passers of the ball I’ve seen in the Prem. Incredible technique and vision. Defensively he’s been undone too often. Really not sure why, you’d think he’s been coached to a very high level and would understand what went wrong. Anyway, wish him all the best. Always happy to see English players going abroad and hopefully doing well.
  5. Are we the most pessimistic fans in the whole entire world? Asking for a friend
  6. Agree with you there. When Murphy has a bad game you can see it early on, so wish we would just swap him out after 10-15 min in some of the games this season
  7. The premier league has never had a really great RB though IMO, and we still never see Trent in anyone’s all time XI. People talk about him as if he’s the English Cafu. I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t make my all time top 5 premier league RB’s.
  8. Ideally you’d like another a CM of high quality to have a rotational crop of 4. Then with younger players to supplement.
  9. We've also beaten Arsenal (twice), Chelsea, Forest, Villa and Bretford at home, along with draws against Liverpool and City. There's a big distinction in the home and away fork when it comes to top half teams.
  10. I think that's diminishing why these players are so good. They find the space. You don't think 100's of managers probably put someone on Messi and said man mark him, only for him to inevitably find space and score again and again?
  11. With our midfield 3 it should be possible to man mark certain players at all times of the game. There's not many players I'd stick one of our players on at all times, but Palmer is one of them. Been screaming at the screen more than once when he's found space between our lines and seemingly nobody catching him until its too late. The other player I can think of is Rodri. He's always where the ball is somehow, so why not ensure we always have a player where the ball will end up too?
  12. Barnes or Gordon doesn’t work on the RW though. We are a better side with Murphy out there.
  13. Conjo

    Joelinton

I'm fairly certain he is the player opponents hate facing the most out of all our players.
  14. Yeah we need his character in this one, it’ll be proper feisty.
  15. I quite like that we're not taking the when they go low we go lower approach. Feel confident we'll be challenging on all fronts eventually anyway, just not as fast as some had hoped when PIF bought us.
  16. Elma

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

They've just come back up from the third tier. Were down there several years, like Sunderland.
  17. Fantastic player who's tailor made for Howe's style. That being said, I doubt he'd match Murphys output this season had he stayed, and would have struggled to get the playing time he wanted so in hindsight it was probably in his best interest too to make the move. Shame it wasn't just a season long loan.
  18. Their speed on the transition is soooo bad for us. Especially without Joelinton. Willock against Palmer? aaaargh
  19. I think he's one of the best right backs the league has seen
  20. Man himself has announced it on Twitter. Replies as level headed as you'd expect.
  21. Today
  22. By a few years you mean 30?
  23. If he was trying to show how he’s moved on mentally to Brighton being his club he did the opposite. Just stick to focusing on your football man, no one cares
