Also Spurs have probably seen the best of Maddison. Strikes me as a player profile who will fall off quick.
-
If he wins and scores us pens most of our fans won’t give a shiny shit I reckon
-
So our fans will hate him in 2027 and want him sold.
-
Johnson is just as comfortable on the left. Maddison has been on the bench for Spurs most of this season.
-
Inter played the last league games with basically a second team out there despite being in the hunt for the title. They might have ran out of legs but that wasn't due to lack of rotating as they were using their super deep squad in the league games.
-
Norwich wasn't it? When he missed through corona.
-
Still a bit square peg/round holey with Johnson left and no place for Maddison. Easier to just spend your big money on a LW. Frank's highest Premier League finish is ninth. Nuno finished seventh twice at Wolves but didn't last long at Spurs. Frank's record vs. NUFC is P10 W2 D1 L7, worse than I expected when I looked it up. The draw was Eddie's first game, the 3-3, which he missed with coronavirus.

Man united are haggling over a fee with brentford. Spurs have just went here there's the wonga hilarity will prevail if he joins them over the big pull club.
-
“Chelsea have won the competition for the signature of Roony Bardghji, signing the mercurial winger to an 8-year contract. He will be sent to Strasbourg on a season-long loan.”

Doesn’t really matter. For the purposes of planning, petitions count as one response and it’s not a vote anyway. Any genuine material consideration raised by one person or half a million is either a valid reason for mitigation or refusal in the planning balance or it isn’t. For such a high profile site, there is nothing the public are going to be able to raise that the club, its planning consultants, its experts or the council don’t already know about and will have discussed through the pre-app and dozens of high level meetings long before the application is submitted. The nature of the application means it won’t be a delegated officer decision and will go to planning committee with a recommendation by the officers to approve or refuse. Members of planning committee will have to declare any conflict of interest, (ignoring most will be nufc fans I suppose) which would mean anyone who is a friend of leazes or anyone who’s active in an opposition group won’t be allowed to vote. if members of planning committee were swayed by public opinion or mass objection/petitions, may be swayed to vote to refuse. But if the officers recommend to approve and there is no obvious material reason to refuse, the council will just be taken to appeal by the club. The council would advise members not to do that as an independent inspector would make the decision and would be unlikely to refuse against the officer recommendation and with no material reasons. In that scenario the club would be awarded costs against the council that could run into mega costs. Potentially millions. The application will either be acceptable for obvious reasons or it won’t. Whatever any member of the public thinks is pretty irrelevant.

Marseille are offering €1 million and 5% sale clause. Get him for £5 million or a bit less and I think he could be the long term RW for us. Low risk spend for a high ceiling
-
And Brighton one of the teams with more PSR bandwidth than us. Also if rumours were true WHU didn’t want to sign Todibo but it was conditional Apart from the usual suspects in the sweet shop the market is quiet again.
-
That Maguire talks shit every single window.
-
Just been on the phone to my plumber, getting a new bath installed on Monday
-
Aye, but you keep paying that for five years. Meaning you have to consistently qualify or sell players over the following four years.
-
Saw that on twitter this afternoon. If its true then I wouldn't be surprised to see a few surprise top class signings but it'll probably be July onwards
-
No problem... I was never arguing but somewhere cows graze is not exactly what most folks think of as a park nor suitable for a lot of typical park usage, green space yes but park not in my humble. Certainly not worth worrying about
-
Yeh that tracks, my impression from watching him is that he is quite an effective diver.

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup
Guybrush replied to bowlingcrofty's topic in Football
For the SELA cup, here me out: Winner gets a billion pounds, runner up gets a hundred million pounds. Take that PSR! -
It goes in cycles and all the players were U-21 when the qualifiers started. Surely it makes more sense to do it like this than having to drop off players from a major tournament after their birthdays?
-
Didn't he then bid over 100 million for caciedo? 😂
