Looks like they are going to sell Garnacho and maybe Mainoo to fund this spending spree.
-
Cristian Chivu new Inter manager.
-
City talking to Flamengo about their right back again.
-
He could be the long term solution for Joelinton. Get him on board now in preparation for a £50m sale of big Joe to Saudi in a few years time
-
Aye relatively low risk for City. Could become a Ballon D’Or contender or at worst they’lll make their money back if they don’t stick him on crazy wages. With his ability he can swan about just insert the elite level well enough and eat l the pies he desires.
-
He’s a DM.
-
I'd certainly take Ramsey at that price. Can't see them selling for that, despite needing to trade. He's definitely a talent but does seem to be very similar profile to Willock? If we could shift Willock for say £20m and get him for around £30m I'd shake hands on that for sure.
-
where they getting all this money from
-
Murphy is one of the worst wingers in the league for simple ball rentention. I would be delighted if his replacement matched him for G/A. That bar is high. But for general play, there’s a lot of improvement to be made that will lift our entire game.
-
Not sure I see the appeal of Ramsey. Can somebody enlighten me?

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Postecoglu told to rack off by Spurs
The College Dropout replied to cp40's topic in Football
It can’t be understated how much better the likes of Strand Larson, Alex Iwobi and Kevin Schade are than the best the Championship clubs can often muster. If one of them has a massive go maybe they can stay up. But it’s going to be super tough. -
We give them 45 mill for Ramsey and they give us 15 mill for Vlach.
-
Well, well, well, What do we have here Newcastle, buying a player?! We'll be having him, thank you!
-
Very good. How about "Welcome back Villa legend Matt Targett"
-
Don't think he's looked the same since the injuries tbh. Kinda like Willock.
-
Ramsey is pretty similar to Willock, no? Both a bit MIA with injuries/loss of form for last two seasons. Very good beforehand.
-
-
Someone just told me Ramsey is definitely happening but he isn’t the most reliable so don’t start the thread yet 😂😂

Qatar aren’t interested. It’s been about a year since Staveley left NUFC and was rumoured to be bringing the Qatari’s to you, and nothing has happened. Your Qatari links go back much further as well. Qatar also passed on Man Utd with that Jasim guy, who at best couldn’t prove proof of funds, and at worst couldn’t even prove that he existed. Liverpool were open to offers at the same time, and Chelsea have been up for sale in recent years. They even had the option to buy Leeds, and seemingly passed up on the opportunity. Qatar are happy with PSG. They were already buying soft power in Paris and France before they even bought PSG. They have their fingers in FIFA’s pie, and in European football authorities pie as well. Bein have invested in Ligue 1 rights, and they have won the right to host, and actually hosted the World Cup. In the last 2 weeks they have achieved their ultimate aim with PSG, that is until they build their new stadium and some sort of ESL comes along. On top of this both FIFA and UEFA are seemingly clamping down on multi-club ownerships, which would just complicate matters if they gave you an uplift. Who comes first for them? The Premier League club that’s cost them billions and has a much higher base revenue before you get to sponsorships, or the team they have spent the last 15 years turning into a global brand, singing up big sponsorship deals, and generally building them into a mega club? Qatar simply aren’t interested in you. Your best chance of such a takeover was when Levy had PIF round, and kept upping the price, ultimately leaving them there for Staveley to come along and bring them to us.

Think Silva would have only gone to Spurs, not sure there’s a better gig available which offers him what he has at fulham. Fulham supporting colleague at work (they exist!) says the Saudi rumours are bollocks -
I still think managers have under performed, Levy can take the blame for appointing them but he has supplied them with one of the best stadiums and training grounds in the world along with the 4th highest transfer budget.
-
Not unless we particularly have someone we want rid of.
-
Would one of ours be going to Villa if we got Ramsey? Similar to Anderson for Vlach?
