  1. Past hour
  2. Garnacho isn’t better than Barnes either, he may be in the future mind.
  3. Onana is NOT better than Pope.
  4. If he does go I'm looking forward to the tinpot Man U fans celebrating like they've won the league
  5. Before his injury Botman was arguably one of thr beat centre backs in the league.
  6. The shirt he designs in that video is alright, but personally I prefer a cleaner look, so not a massive fan of both the gold and blue trim, would rather just stick to the one, preferably the gold, as blue makes me have flashbacks to some of the monstrosities that Puma committed. Also hate the back on that home shirt, it'd prefer a fully plain black then some weird half and half nonsense. The second is genuinely incredible and probably better the original. The third is very meh.
  7. "somehow be competitive" imagine hearing your manager say that in public. Really inspiring.
  8. If I had to guess on the position it would be that Ashworth has a 12 month notice and then a 6 month restrictive covenant to stop him working for a rival during that time, meaning he wouldn’t be able to join Man Utd until just before the January 2026 window. If that is the case then his angle at arbitration should be that the covenant isn’t fair, as they are only enforceable if inserted to protect legitimate business interests and extend no further than is reasonably necessary to protect those interests. I think he could make a reasonable argument that this isn’t the case, meaning he could leave and work for Man Utd when his contract ends, which he will see as a move to making negotiations easier. I am still not sure that the club would do a deal under those circumstances, if anything they will double down.
  9. What I find fascinating about Castore is that I ended up ordering these one by one, as I wasn't completely sure I wanted both. However, the time between orders ended up being less than ten minutes or something. Yet, the shirt is already on its way to my house less than three days after placing the order (which is fairly quick for an international shipment). The jacket, however? It's been faffing about between Glasgow, Birmingham and "East Midlands" since it was ordered and has an estimated delivery of "May 9th"
  10. Think Varela was profiled by a number of clubs, but his personal life and his attitude have raised questions.
  11. I’m probably in the minority that thinks Maguire’s massively underrated
  12. We’re screwing up all of their plans they had for this summer, they hate it, and there’s nothing they can do about it.
  13. I really like the idea of using different crests across home, away and third kits
  14. Are you being serious saying Maguire is better than Botman?
  15. I love that home kit, I think the blue and gold looks classy if done right and they are colours from our crest so relevant too.
  16. Listen, right, FUCK that club. Fuck the Glazers. Fuck Jim Boy. Fuck that rat face cunt. They played hardball over Lingard. Now it’s time for a taste of their own medicine. And fuck @Froggy too.
  17. Onana > Pope Dalot < Trippier Maguire > Botman Varane < Schar Shaw > Burn Mainoo > Longstaff Bruno > Joelinton Casemiro < Bruno Rashford < Gordon Garnacho > Barnes Hojlund < Isak pretty even imo
  18. Pata

    Alexander Isak

It’s just a fact that at some point we will have to pay our world class players proper wages, no matter how happy they are to be here now. Isak is reportedly at £120k a week. He knows that players like Sterling, Rashford, Martial, Jesus and Havertz are making 2-3 times the money he gets. All the talk about not swapping him with Haaland while Haaland makes almost £400k a week. It’s a thing that usually gets talked about a lot less than transfer fees when talking about all the financial restrictions. If we are succesful in the transfer market, the wages we have to pay to keep the established stars are going to go up massively or players will get unhappy and start to look for a move to a club that pays them significantly more. Replacing players like Bruno and Isak is almost impossible and the cycle of replacing great players with cheaper options will certainly go tits up at some point setting us back even further on FFP etc. It’s a big challenge for Eales and the others to keep increasing the revenue but they’ll have to find a solution.
  19. I don't ever believe in the retirement of shirts, for what possible reason would ant team do that, its moronic
  20. I love Bruno but gone are the days when I'm going to get emotionally attached. Players have come and gone. We need to think solely about the quickest route to silverware. Route 1: With Bruno, a world class midfielder Route 2: 100m in the bank, which equates to much more in FFP terms and the possibility of signing 2/3 future stars. Neither are terrible. I prefer Route 1.
  21. Aye. Like Varela I see him going for cheap and then be worth 50m+ as well.
