Having energy and stamina is fine but when it's just headless chicken stuff, it's useless. Running around and trying is fine but when it's not backed up with footballing intelligence then it's useless. Same goes for Almiron. Running and trying isn't enough, sorry lads, off you pop

Just need to move him on to whoever is fucking stupid enough to buy him from us. Price is irrelevant, just get him out
  3. Must admit I'm not far away from this too. The last 4 or 5 months aren't a blip, he's been brilliant to get the club form 19th to 11th to 4th but now we've dipped back into mid-table. He fully deserved all of the praise for doing so but now it's going backwards he's going to be asked some uncomfortable questions. He's ultimately responsible for results and performances, good or bad, and they've been largely bad for a long time now. He absolutely deserves the rest of this season and probably next season too but the doubts are creeping in, he's under the pump but what's he doing to change it? Why do we look so shit? Why are we conceding so many soft/shit goals? Why are we so easy to play against? Why are we playing the same way in the same formation every single game? Where has the discipline gone? Where has the aggression gone? Why are we getting done on the counter 10 times a game? Where has the defensive composure gone? Why are we shit scared to put a challenge in to stop attacks at source? You can't just say "injuries", it's more than that. It's far more than just injuries
  4. Feels like a huge regression this season and we're almost back to where we finished up in 2022. The hard work, progress and momentum built up in 22/23 has largely unravelled since October and we're now a shadow of the side we were 12 months ago. Everything that side had, all the qualities and dna has just dissolved away and we're left with that heap of shit tonight. I know, i know, injuries have played their part but there's more too it than that. We don't even play the game like we did a year ago, we're nicer, more open, looser, less organised, sloppier and passive. We're predictable, a yard shot on pace and don't snap into tackles any longer. We went from the side everyone feared to the team everyone wants next on the fixture list and putting it all on injuries is weapons-grade horseshit. We've gone backwards in a major way and it's undeniable
  5. Dismal performance from start to finish, front to back. Every single thing that we were last season we're absolutely not this season. We've gone backwards massively over the last 4 or 5 months, it's been pigshit for ages, the sooner the season ends the better
  6. Good finish but it's soft as puppy shit yet again. It's happening every single game
  7. Gordon's carrying something here, no chance he plays the full 90. It's been a big heap of shit so far tbph
  8. Good luck shifting players on fat, 8 year deals. This was always the worry for them when they were doing it, people pointed it out but they knew best and Todd had a plan. Brilliant news they're now in the fucking shit, just hope it's all true, ridiculous way to run a football club
  9. No idea. But he's looked good whenever I've seen him. 6'4, good technique, can score, knocks it about nicely and can do a bit of everything from what I've seen. I'm a fan
  10. Charles De Ketelaere (on loan at Atalanta) has impressed me when I've watched them. Milan would want a fortune though presumably
  11. Next Vieira if we sign him Worse than Longstaff if we don't
  12. Villa currently in the mud, this'll be a big result for both teams
  13. They vastly overrate anything connected to their club so it's no surprise they think he's worth 25+. He's a good player but got zero pedigree in the league he's trying to get into and he's not exactly a kid either, how much better will he get? If they manage to get people offering 16ish for him they should snap arms off. An out-of-form Tripper tucked him up and totally nullified him on his own ground in their cup final. He never got a kick against a PL RB, that speaks volumes
  14. Mental goal for Monza in Genoa. Scissor kick from 15 yards out
  15. Announce 3 mins stoppage time...
  16. In all fairness their financial position is just as ridiculous as ours. They have owners who want to invest but are being hamstrung by this FFP shite, it's shit for the pair of us. They should also be allowed to invest as much as their owners are prepared to put in to help them move forward and gatecrash the top 6 too, they have just as much right to have a go as we do, good on them tbh
  17. There's being poor and out of your depth and then there's Sheffield United this season. Honestly don't know why the bothered getting promoted if this is what the reward is. They're getting humiliated every single week. The daft thing is that they finished more than 20 points ahead of Sunderland last year too... Imagine
  18. Aye, I can see a strong end to the season. Fixtures are reasonably good and the more difficult games are still opportunities for points. Each game in winnable, not dating we'll win them all but I'll be going into each game looking to get points in every single one. Man U away looks the most difficult but we've beaten them 3 times on the bounce and knocked them out of the cup so that's a chance of a result. Spurs at home isn't easy but I'd expect at least a point. No reason why we can't aim for 6th and be in poker position if one of spurs or villa blow up. We need a run like Liverpool made at the back end of last season though
