  1. Prolific he isn't but he has been an essential cog in the wheel alongside our other new signings. If you remember, we tried hard to sign another striker but there just weren't any available do we brought in Wood. He gives the side balance for the way we are having to play. Wood knows that he will probably be a squad player next season but what were his options. Stay at Burnley and probably get relegated then play in the championship. He's come here, no doubt on much bigger wages, a cut from the transfer fee, playing in front of capacity crowds every week and being a part of a big project. A no brained and him and his family will be set up for life. Unlike other big signings, he gives it his all and without him we may not have had the success that we have enjoyed.
  2. West Bromwich should sack Bruce and get Dyche in while they can
  3. He just looks happy with his lot. He has worked incredibly hard to improve his managerial knowledge in the time since he left Bournemouth and he is now getting his rewards. Much more deserved than someone getting sacked with a big payoff then spending their time watching cricket and eating kebabs with no intention of trying to improve or learn from past experience and just waiting for some other mugs to employ them.
  4. Wouldn't be surprised if he takes a cut from the wages of the other Steve's and his tosser son. "I'll get you all a job again but I want of your wages. As none of them would ever get a job elsewhere they'd probably agree to that
  5. Our current position doesn't leave a lot of room for 'flair' players. Maxi is incredible on his day but one thing he isn't is a fighter and we need 11 fighters until we are safe. We could do a lot worse than playing Fraser on the left and Ritchie on the right. He has no pace but he can whip crosses in and always gives 100%. It would also shore up the right and the left side of our defence
  6. When the ball goes to ASM the ball sticks to his feet and the game stops giving the opposition the time to regroup. If he could just pass it and move until he's in better positions to run with it he could be a world beater. Whenever he gets the ball he tries to just go for goal from positions where he's more likely than not to lose possession
  7. Don't really fancy our chances for this one. A draw would be awesome
  8. £150 Mil I think. City offered £120 mil and it was refused

The whole point I'm making is that the with the current players at his disposal we should be winning a trophy or two rather than be runners up.

Southgate has never been a success at anything. He got the job because he doesn't rock the boat and comes over as squeaky clean. He is more concerned about and puts more effort into other issues like LGBT, racism, equality, free school dinners etc. They are issues not to be ignored by any means but he is a football manager and not a politician. We have the best selection of players that we have ever had but with him in charge we will win nothing

    Joelinton

He didn't look 100% fit to me in the last game. I'm assuming that this illness that they seem to be affected by is COVID and maybe it takes a little while to get over it
  12. Watching the Southampton game and I think that Adam Armstrong will be dropping back down a league or two. He has three decent chance for shots at goal and scuffed all three.
  13. Gordon is a god player but he is a horrible little shite
  14. Everton would be a dream. To see Lampards face if they got relegated would be orgasmic
  15. I'm really pleased for Leeds. I love the way Bielsa got them playing and hope they stay up. Not at our expense of course
  16. They should have left him tied to the post, probably the safest place. He'd never get struck with ball standing there
  17. The service he gets is non existent. Nothing comes from the right flank and that only leaves Fraser on the left. He showed what he can do with that great ball from Shelvey but I don't recall him receiving any other crosses of that quality
  18. The only time in the game that he went for the line and didn't check back he nearly had an assist. He has tremendous pace but he is frightened of losing the ball so just checks back to play it square or backwards, the safe ball. We are so weak down the right flank in attack and defence
  19. The positivity on this thread is incredible. It's no time at all since it was about how many we'd lose by. Now we believe we can beat anybody and I love it. Big thanks to the miracle workers, Amanda, Eddie and the team
  20. Best we can get is a draw, even if all the players were available. Try to erect a brick wall across the back
  21. Showed some great touches and movement but was knackered after an hour and started to misplace passes. Just shows the pace of PL games. Once he's up to speed he'll be awesome

    Emil Krafth

Always expecting him to give away a free kick on the edge of our box. Fortunately he didn't do it last night but Murphy did
  23. Just been reading on the Saints forum about Bruno's lucky goal. Apparently 99 times out of a hundred he would have put it over the bar and it was pure luck. Maybe I watched a different game
  24. They can be very good and always put a shift in so won't be easy. I'd be happy with a draw but the trouble is I'm getting used to winning
