But him going to Chelsea did give us all the Gerrard moment.

Newcastle United vs Leeds United - 17/09/21 - Sky Sports 8pm

Difference this time (hopefully) is that there is no cushion to hide behind. 1 point from 5 games looks a hell of a lot worse in your first 5 games than it does in games 20-25 when you already have a few wins on the board. Of course our lot will just look at it as more time to turn it around -
Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

If nothing else you get to play with/against players with more mature game styles / physical attributes rather than always being within your peer group. -
He brings down Bruce in the next few days, comes here on loan in January and has a stormer of a half season. Legend in the making

'Head of elevation' = Cleans the stairs and lifts. With SD taking over the DW gyms my local gym and store has recently had a fit out to include SD, Game, OSC etc and as a first its actually made an improvement to the look and feel of the store. Small scale and you can see what the plan would have been with HoF. Shame he's him / had to buy us

They're playing in a rainbow shirt aren't they? We're going to get tonked by a rainbow -
You're better than that HTT - Mexico is in 4 time zones, which one are we using?

Good header from Ronilton -
I was on holiday in Pooley Bridge when this broke. The whole campsite was chanting Shearer all day

The Great Dane?
-
Willock on loan Willems Ben Arfa Rondon You could get those 4 for very little outlay and we know that they improve the squad. (working with the budget here, get that they wouldn't be the most satisfying window ever) Let Ritchie move back to Bournemouth to put a million into the pot and look for a few quid on Darlow to get another centre mid. But we have Bruce so Hendrick it is

Possibly because this is only relevant if arbitration concludes that there is no separation between PIF and the Saudi Government/Royal Family. Another plum
-
Going back to Edwards 'article', proof it is a pile of crap is where he says that the Saudi government haven't helped us out by providing the information needed. The arbitration was to determine if it was needed, not to validate what had been provided by them. Plum

The main issue with AoB was that he was signed a couple of days after Shep was bragging that we could sign any defender in the world. Limited but dedicated pro, middle of the road signing. Big nose, scored against the Mackems

I'm going for Enrique

The Chelsea, Man U and Liverpool protests were against their owners though, not the PL. Different fight

Fees for sale weren't in the ask though

Michael Owen Jack Colback (yes I know) Gabriel Obertan (for pushing HBA out the team) Marcelino Steve Bruce
-
She's just been burnt by a technicality in her win against Barclays, so it's no surprise that she is very careful with her language here. Officially the Saudi's have pulled out so saying they are still involved could be used against the club by a clever lawyer in either arbitration of CAT. Saying they are still committed is vague enough to be a non-event for a judge, easy to bat off as being committed once the process going forward has been clarified. We don't go to court on the specific point of separation if PIF are not still 'involved'
-
What other reason would anyone be involved in anything other than it suiting them? Jordan really is thick as pig shit at (that majority of) times
-
Ashley's got a stealth chopper? Oh sorry, no that is Darren Grimes
-
That's Martin from Game On

So 18 months to the World Cup, unlikely to see many of the team drop out due to age and similarly unlikely to have any new young players get enough game time to make a compelling case to break into the team. So how do we build on the momentum from the World Cup and these Euros? Big risk that if nothing changes we go backwards and waste this generation of players imo - bit like losing the play off final. But who takes us forward? Yeah it's going to be Southgate but for his and the teams immediate future I'd make a change. Not many stand out candidates though, Howe maybe? Bruce? Pardew? Or do we need to look abroad again?

Games have been more than decent amd I know Covid will have played a part here but not a fan of the multi Country format. Much rather a host nation.
