To be honest, the crowd was shit against Wolves. But we're in the Championship. Last time we went all season unbeaten at home. We've already lost 2 this time around. The expectations to win every week, or at least play with attacking vigour, and ultimately run away with the league are completely justified.

They're not though in a sense mate. You've been brought up to understand what getting behind your team is and half these knackers nowadays don't just expect a "team that tries hard", hell they don't even expect a win. They expect to win in an entertaining fashion. Utter fucking plebs. I wish we had more fans like this. Actually in my experience most seem to just want the former.

Aye, Best was a non entity in our promotion IMO. He did well in the Prem. I'm also not sure why its so outlandish that people have seen Clark, Hanley and Murphy play enough to make a judgement. These guys must have about 600 appearances in British football between them plus 20+ caps each for Scotland and Ireland. I've seen all of them enough to not rate them, and know for a fact they'll be no good as PL players. Down here, however, they'll be near the top echelons in terms of quality.

I've never seen him play so I've got nothing to say about quality. But, we really need a winger now, and we're signing one with a broken leg. It's really understandable to be pissed off with it, especially given our history of transfer business Exactly He could be the David Silva + Goals that Steggy describes, but its not ideal if he possibly won't be at full speed until halfway through the season.
