I really don't get why these negotiations take so long. 'We bid £25m' *2 days later* 'No' *3 days later* 'We bid £26m' *4 days later* 'Hmm, no' *3 days later* 'We bid £27.... oh, Chelsea have bought him' Surely they can thrash out what's acceptable to each party in a day or so of back and forth?

I get the feeling he's the kind of lad who will be trying to soak up as much of Howe's instructions and tactics as quickly as he can. I think he'll adapt to our patterns of play pretty sharpish.
