Posting from your Motorola Razr are we?

Even if all that is true (I don’t know Alex Hurst from Adam, nor do I pay much attention to TF) I don’t think that means you’re allowed to go around accusing him of misappropriating money meant for charity. Some of the stuff posted in this thread is actionable.
-
Honest question - Is there any genuine evidence they’ve done anything underhand here? Or is it just people who don’t like Alex Hurst imagining scenarios and getting upset by it?

Decent result, poor performance. We looked a yard off pretty much all over the park. Hard to gauge anything from that really because Brighton are often absolutely brilliant at home. Didn’t really tell us anything we didn’t already know. We have to get a couple of attackers in or we’re going to find it hard.

Said the same to wor kid. How was that less of a kit clash than allowing us to play in our away kit ffs?

Lascelles is a great example. Club captain and mainstay of the squad for several Premier League campaigns, whose form has understandably peaked and troughed along with that of the club as we swapped out good manager for bad. Performed well whenever he’s been called upon by Howe, but the mere mention of his name appearing on the team sheet seems to drive some people potty. -

Some on here take it as a personal slight that someone can’t kick a ball quite as good as they would like them to. I find it quite distasteful, but in Ritchie’s case it’s just mental. His crime appears to be ageing, as if the lad should be knocking back Lucozade sport bottles full of Oil of Ulay. Clark obviously got a load of shit after the Norwich game, which was understandable at the time. I was definitely party to that. But even in those cases it’s the way it lingers, and the way permeates every conversation months later, that gets me depressed. -
You can buy more than one if you have someone on your family and friends with a membership IIRC.

Think he’s going to have an absolutely massive season. So excited to see what he can do as part of that midfield three.
-
Replay made that look very nasty.
-
He was busy and linked up well with Bruno but his decision making in the box was poor. He wasn’t the only one like, but I was getting particularly frustrated with him.

Big fan of Schar just Ctrl+Ving his goal against Burnley from a few years back too. Absolutely identical

It’ll always be mad going 1-0 up and not shitting ourselves. I don’t think I’ll get used to that for a while. Forest were cat shit mind. Saved their blushes by being pretty poor in the final third.
-
I’d be absolutely staggered if Chelsea is the only club they have a ‘stake’ in, given how much PIF money will be sloshing around investment funds.
-
Likewise. Expecting an after the lord mayor’s show style performance and result. Forest will be bang up for it.

I think I preferred it when everyone was losing their minds because we weren’t bidding for anyone. The club have a valuation, Leicester have a valuation. We might find that both parties stick quite stubbornly to those figures but the way this has played out - specifically the fact that Leicester have made it very publicly known there’s a price at which they’ll do business - that there’s a deal to be done. Ultimately the club have to operate under a very strict set of financial parameters for now. There’s also an effort to completely torpedo the idea that the ‘Newcastle tax’ is a thing. I don’t see any point in critiquing this approach too much until the end of the transfer window when we know where we stand. -
I don’t think so. We’re paying for Wood in instalments.
-
I reckon there’s something up with Cornet. Seems odd teams are so reluctant to pay his release clause.

They indicated yesterday we bid £50m. They’ve no idea what’s going on behind closed doors. We probably shouldn’t lose our suit whenever they tweet anything that’s even mildly pessimistic. -

Bruno and Botman were big statements in terms of the quality we’re searching for, but I think getting Maddison from Leicester would be the biggest of the lot. Good young player at a Premier League club we couldn’t dream of competing against 12 months ago. Proper upset the apple cart signing if it happens. -

Edwards works for the Telegraph too, but it wouldn’t be the first time he’s been put back in his box by a more senior journo on his paper. -
It was always going to pick up again. There’s still a full month to go.

The coverage of the Women’s Euros made my 7 year old - who went to her first NUFC match last season and didn’t much enjoy it - decide she wanted to come to the game today where she had a really lovely day. And she’s absolutely buzzing for the final tomorrow. If your life is being ruined by women’s sport being given a reasonable level of publicity maybe your life is just fucking miserable and the Euros has nothing to do with it?

I think Leicester are aware he’s one of their more saleable assets and they’re hamstrung until they shift bodies. He’d be a big loss to them, but if they’re that stuffed by FFP better to shift one that a handful.
