Terrymac1966
So we might park the bus on Saturday against the mighty Bournemouth .... great plan Shteve and no doubt you will still speak of progress after a home draw? Can't wait to celebrate this magnificent achievement down town and sing great songs about the mighty manager later on Truth is nobody wanted him except Carr and Moncur ... what a set of pricks have led this club under Ashley only Hughton could hold his head up besides of course KK probably the only man who could turn this whole shower of shyte right around even now... Dennis Wise anyone? Kinnear p'raps?
Parky
His biggest handicap is that he has one of those faces that when he gets angry you just start laughing.
DJ_NUFC
Well at least he asked us in advance to judge him after 10 games. We just didn't know at the time he meant the last 10 games.
huss9
there's only one thing that's been worse than last night's performance - and that's the shit and bollocks/spin that McLaren, Shelvey and Anderson (radio Newcastle) have come out with since. the whole fucking lot of them seem blissfully unaware that the team is shite, not unlucky.
DJ_NUFC
How can they honestly trot out this crap about luck? McClaren's won, what, 8 games all of last year? Was Derby unlucky too?
Jesse Pinkman
Theres always a tipping point. Pardews was Stoke, we seen McClarens last night. Will he get sacked? Judging the clubs previous actions, no. Theres no accountability at the club and McClaren is even on the board. However I think he lost a lot of fans last night. Tiotes Witch Doctor
The Riviere sub alone is a sackable offence IMO. Completely out of his depth, wouldn't even want him to manage us if we went down either.
mofo
You know what pisses me off is so called expert's saying loose against Bournemouth and Ashley will get rid of him.. so if we get a win then does that make everything alright??
Unbelievable
The only way we're getting rid is if some other club comes in and offers us a couple of million for him. It's not going to happen people.
Carlito
The Riviere sub alone is a sackable offence IMO. Completely out of his depth, wouldn't even want him to manage us if we went down either. Was gonna say this last night. It really boggles the mind
Scotty66
This manager lark is a lottery. I was quite happy with McClaren when he was appointed as he looked fairly solid. International experience, continental experience, shown the ropes by one of the greatest managers of all time, seemed to play good passing football etc, etc. But the bloke is so bad. Game after game he makes poor decisions. Compare that with Pochettino who had a 32% win rate from 161 games at Espanyol and was basically sacked. Came to the Premier League and is taking it by storm. I bet we don't even have a shortlist of managers if McClaren was sacked just like when Pardew left.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-desperate-state-would-pointless-10987126 Rob Lee thinks it would be pointless to sack McClaren as whoever replaced him couldn't change much. What a joke. Changing managers saved Sunderland and Aston Villa last season. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/siem-de-jongs-return-highlight-10986114 By the way, we lost a behind closed doors friendly against Hartlepool 3-1. De Jong and Anita played. None of our teams can beat any other team regardless of division.
Guest chopey
Lets just cut the bullshit Get Keegan in and have a go at staying up, and even if we go down I'm 100% confident if Ashley leaves him alone we will come back up stronger and better
astraguy
It shows how much this club is now viewed with the lack of stories putting him under pressure and no one other then us thinking he should be sacked
Darth Crooks
Rode the coat tails of Alex Ferguson may be more apt. Still, he'd won trophies
Carlito
It shows how much this club is now viewed with the lack of stories putting him under pressure and no one other then us thinking he should be sacked I think a lot of it is just people playing it safe tbh when they say rubbish like nobody else could come in and do a better job or such and such needs time to turn it around, whether it's media figures or fans of the club. We got a lot of stick for wanting shite managers out in the last decade, tarred with the unrealistic expectations brush, and it seems nobody wants to give outsiders ammunition they need to take pops at us again. Surely Rob Lee can't be so thick as to imply nobody could turn it around when Keegan, a manager he played for in the following seasons came into our club twice as manager and saved us from the drop with less than half of the season remaining. bowlingcrofty
Daily Mail reckon he's gone if we lose on Saturday.
NG32
Daily Mail reckon he's gone if we lose on Saturday. But if he wins, the loses the game after that.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Daily Mail reckon he's gone if we lose on Saturday. Craig Hope? It's all well and good if we bin him and have someone (preferably vaguely competent) ready to step in. However if we're binning him and f***ing about drawing up a "shortlist" like we did when Pardle left, then there's no point whatsoever. Sadly, I think the latter will turn out to be the case if we do give McClaren the boot. As has been said 5,729 times, we should've binned him after Chelsea. We could've even afforded a week or so to get interviews etc done.
Ketsbaia
Daily Mail reckon he's gone if we lose on Saturday. Apparently the players have lost faith and believe defeat will see him gone. I'd suggest they'll lose on purpose but I think it'd be hard to tell

sbnufc
Lose tomorrow and go down anyway with some Kinnear type in as caretaker, or win and give us at least a bit of a chance of staying up, but having McClaren as manager for another year at least Christ, they're both awful
