GM
How is even he still here? You know the answer to this. And you know it was a rhetorical question...

joeyt
Hated him at Boro, Hated him for England and didn't want him anywhere near us and bar a couple of games where we've played some decent stuff we've been on the whole awful. Leicester went out and got Ranieri when they peddled Pearson, why didn't we go after someone like that?? We'd have been rightly up in arms if we'd got Ranieri at the time

Leicester went out and got Ranieri when they peddled Pearson, why didn't we go after someone like that?? It was a terrible appointment on paper. Unfortunately Ashley has killed expectations so we now convince ourselves that we couldn't do any better anyway. Truth is that Ashley just doesn't want to do any better. A doormat who will shut up and accept what he's given is his wet dream.

He's got a very good record at club level and was very unlucky to get binned at Chelsea.

You could see today Leicester had an identity and knew what they had to do. We made it easy for them but when they had the ball they knew how to hurt us and played with confidence

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I wouldn't have wanted him anywhere near us tbh

He's has about 30 jobs and been sacked from pretty much every single one.

Wullie
Given the clubs he's managed Ranieri has a pretty shit record tbh. Doing a blinding job this season although their form was extremely good for the last two months of last season as well.
joeyt
Its madness to think that anyone would have wanted Ranieri here. He's doing way better than anyone expected, and needs to be applauded for that, but I do feel that the only top team Leicester have played is Arsenal, and they got beat pretty comprehensively

M4
We could only dream of a manager who only loses against the top teams.
Yorkie
I had Leicester as absolute relegation certainties when they appointed Ranieri.
Ryan
I had Leicester as absolute relegation certainties when they appointed Ranieri. Same. Haven't got a clue who I'd go for at the moment if McClaren got sacked/walked (never gonna happen though).
Guest
Aye. I thought with Cambiasso gone and Ranieri in they'd struggle big time.

Big Geordie
Ranieri is very experienced and aye, he's doing really with with Leicester. They are very organized and play to their strengths, They also have owners with ambition and not a one who wants to drown the club in mediocrity. mozy
McClaren clearly isn't getting good results so far, but he shouldn't be sacked for the following reasons. - The squad is full of absolute shite players who don't complement each other in any way possible. Not in formation, style of play, literally nothing. - The time he's had is not long enough to work with said shite bunch of players. Any ridiculous Klopp comparisons conveniently ignore the fact Liverpool clearly have very good players. - We don't need the return of the 'circus' club appointing random insane people from the 90's. - Lack of credible alternatives. Moyes' managerial career path is starting to look very similar to SMC anyway, and we sure as hell aren't attracting the likes of Ancelotti. - We aren't yet adrift. The alarm bells are certainly ringing, but there are 4 sides in the league who are just as bad as us, if not worse.

Could not disagree more apart from the opening sentence part... and which should finally read ' and he should be sacked immediately for the following reason. HE IS SHIT'
TRon
Steve Black's Mr Motivator mind techniques don't seem to be having as much results as Klopp's and Ranieiri's high intensity fitness approach. The defensive counter attack approach might work if we had defenders who could defend and some pace up front. This is a Frankenstein's monster of a football squad. Darth Crooks
Sacking him will solve nothing and leaving it be to trust the other cretins to sort it with Steve in charge will yield even less. Horrible situation, horrible club.
