The Newcastle United Transfer Thread MkII

It wouldn't be perfect but if we got to the end of the transfer window with no-one else leaving and Simpson, Campbell, Lovenkrands, Smith and Beckford we would be in pretty good shape. Surely wouldn't cost that much either would it?

Then we are left with a squad of:

Harper, Krul, Forster (when he comes back)

R Taylor, Simpson, Campbell, S Taylor, Coloccini, Enrique, Tozer, Kadar

T Smith, Barton, Butt, Geremi, Guthrie, Jonas, Guthrie, Nolan, Lua Lua

Beckford, Carroll, Shola, Lovenkrands, Ranger, Xisco

That SHOULD be enough to win this league, infact that squad is a bit too big

It's all plausible as well which is encouraging, could see us getting all of those players.

I remember watching Misfud play against us with Lillestrom, the pre match programme had Koren down as the star man but I was very impressed with Misfud too.

Realistically, we need a centre back some full back options wingers and a nippy striker.

He looked to have a good cross ability from what i have seen from some of the highlights of them, seem to find each other pretty good.

Future Shearer and Ferdinand?  :snod:

Yeah right, future Spurs player more like knowing our speed in the market

by Mark Douglas,

MIKE Ashley flew into Newcastle United’s training ground yesterday to dire warnings that sanctioning any further player sales will decimate the club’s chances of bouncing back into the Premier League.

Forward Victor Moses wants to quit Crystal Palace after being left out of their starting line-up against Ipswich last night.

Sign him up

Fantastic prospect. Seen him a few times live and he's an exciting player to watch.

That's another thoroughly depressing article. According to them, the moat deal is unlikely and Ashley will take the club off the market on Friday (how many times has that been said).
