So we're not allowed to used a well known and commonly used phrase now to describe Bradford's form because their ground went up in the 80s?

Was michael owen even alive when the bradford disaster happened?

 

Were you alive during WW2?

 

 

bit of a difference between ww2, a gobal war with over 60 million dead and a local football disaster that no one outside the uk  would know about.

It was clearly just a bad choice of words, but there's no way Owen should be used for BBC football punditry any more.

 

Or Lineker, Hansen, Lawrenson, Savage, Shearer, Murray etc etc

 

I don't mind Hansen tbh.
