So, you are going to the only part of the world that will not have coverage? Antarctica? Headwaters of the Amazon? Everest? I'm so excited, I think I might create a World Cup shrine around the TV. I'll probably have 3 wall planners, which is completely pointless but who cares.....IT'S THE WORLD CUP!!! gazza ladra Posted April 22, 2010 Share Posted April 22, 2010 My prediction, lots of early afternoon finishes at work and off to the pubs and clubs to soak up the atmosphere with proper football fans and those who like to jump on the I love football bandwagon every 4 years Here in America the amount of plastics who turn up is astonishing. It makes me really not like the World Cup. I think that is really unfair. In the US at least, the World Cup is a gateway that introduces (or reintroduces) fans to the game. Soccer--yes, soccer, is really under-represented in the media. The only time the game takes center stage is when the World Cup comes around and people get the chance to see some of the best playes in the world.
