The Liverpool Thread

Just a thought, but does anyone reckon Liverpool thought they were still in it regarding goal difference simply because they have us as last game? The team that even Moyes put four past. Would they have continued to attack Palace on the assumption they could get another +6 or +7 in their final game if they were up against another team in mid-table, say Stoke or Swansea? If goal difference was seen as a goner (and maybe it should have been 75 minutes into the Palace game anyway), any team with a brain would shut up shop and take the three points at 3-1, if not already at 3-0. Palace's second was scored with Liverpool's defence completely out of position. If the lost two points do end up costing Liverpool the title, maybe our shitness will have had some say in it.

As a comment on the coverage, Brenda also sounds like he's getting criticism for being too gung ho against Chelsea. In the match I saw, Chelsea scored when Liverpool's "third center half" fell on his arse trying to control a square ball in his own half. That, by definition, is not gung ho. After that, the match was just a failed attempt at doing something of note against a parked bus. I think you're supposed to wait more than two weeks before you rewrite history.

They definitely thought if they could get maybe one or two more at Palace at 0-3. If they played their best they know they could do us by 9. Definitely on their mind. Even a crap L'pool side takes us apart at Anfield.

Stop doing this please.

What's the origin of this video? It's amazing!

The interview was recorded in the night club “Компас” (translated “compass”) in the Russian city Veliky Novgorod by the local television company “Triada”.

The first video clips of the interview appeared on March 28th, 2008 on russian websites often titled as “Very Bad Music” ("Очень плохая музыка”) in Russian.

A subtitled version was posted by YouTuber Rammsteinchile95 with the title “Very Bad Music” on January 5th, 2010. The translation revealed that the interviewer was asking a man about the genre of music playing in the club, to which he responds by breaking out in dance to the song “Sound of Sunday” by Joonas Hahmo
