Guest bimpy474
Goodbye Perchie and good luck, stab Whelan in his colostomy bag would you.
Ishmael
Love how standardized the Perch quotes are on the Wigan website. "We need a few comments from you Mr Perch, will this template do?". "Whatever, when do I get paid?"
KaKa
Why are we even selling players to that moron Whelan.
Nobody
Got a lot of time for him, but he's not good enough for us. Best of luck to him.
Dave
What a daft sale. After a very dodgy start he became a useful squad player who the manager felt he could trust. Rarely injured, presumably on low wages and by all accounts a reliable character off the pitch. Jack of all trades, master of none but we need players like that to bulk out the squad. We'd have benefited from seeing out his contract but no doubt we'd rather have a few hundred grand. I wish him well.

I was just thinking, would that not describe Conor Newton, played RB, CB but is best in CM. Maybe that's the thinking, Conor to take Perch's place in the first team squad. Or not
KaKa
I stuck with Perch form the start. He's like a son to me. Deeply hurt by this.
Kanj
Good luck to him, honestly really liked him on our squad. Another deal that in theory is fine if we upgrade our "utility" man, if thats possible. Be it a more defensive utility man who can play across the back or something. I will say, there were times the bloke had immense interception and timing on his tackles - generally in matches he played very well in.

Hope he genuinely gets a starting spot at Wigan in central midfield. Have a feeling they'll use him all wrong though.
Newcastle Fan
I'll bet there will be a point next season where we'll regret selling him. Absolutely.

Mr. Snrub
All the best, James. Do us all a favour and snap that bastard McManaman's legs in your first training session.
Matt
Yeah, those home games when we need a tackle The first of which usually saw him in the book.
Guest neesy111
Yeah, those home games when we need a tackle The fact that we need a tackle, shows there are far bigger problems than selling Perch.
Jack Flash
He was complete shit for ages then turned into a very solid player almost overnight. It didn't last too long but it was a joy to watch someone so likeable win everyone over. Goodbye Jems Porch.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Logic would dictate it means more Anita and Bigirimana next season. I bet it doesn't though.
Oakie Doke
the most annoying thing for me about this is we don't know how much we got for the son of a bitch.
Wilson
Pennies by all accounts. Just a silly, pointless sale on all levels imo.

Cronky
All the best, James. Do us all a favour and snap that bastard McManaman's legs in your first training session. I'd rather he tried to persuade him to join us tbh.
HawK
Was very good cover and very reliable in the end, we are going to miss him big time.
Jill
Good luck to him. It's not often I go back on saying a player is absolutely hopeless but he showed he can do a job, even a bloody good one at times.
