M4
@OptaJean: 1 - Hatem Ben Arfa has scored for Newcastle with his first ever shot in the Premier League. Impact.
BottledDog
Still think he'd be better more central so he can do that sort of thing more often. I'd probably just trust Hughton, the staff, and Ben Arfa himself on where might be best for him. Seems to be working.
Shak
To the Haddaway tune. WHAT IS LOVE?! It's Hatem Ben Arfa Ben Arfa Howay!! Ideally the entire crowd then starts moshing and singing the tune.

Newcastle Fan
Did we sign Messi?
pedro111
After watching that, I think that its fair to say that on the ball he is the best player that I have ever seen in a Newcastle shirt. Might sound over the top but fuck me he just ghosts past players with ease. Such silky skill and ability on the ball.
pedro111
Might have scored more had he not slipped at the vital time.

JH
Could have played Carroll in slightly earlier for a chance in the middle of the second half, but that's just nitpicking - otherwise, absolutely faultless performance. Didn't stop all game.

tmonkey
He looks to have wayyyyy more ability than Ginola/Robert, at least in his dribbling/touch/technique. Closer at times to the likes of Zidane/Ronaldinho/Messi than Ginola. Ginola was great, but in no way did he ghost past 3 or 4 players at will and on numerous occassions like that. Mick
He would have ripped Blackpool a new one if we'd started him, I can't wait for next week when he's got the crowd to lift him.

M4
Beyond what he did with the ball he really worked hard on getting back into position and pressurising Everton players in possession. Sprinting back to do so even! Very encouraging stuff. Hopefully with time he'll get to know others more and release those passes just one touch sooner.
