Dyeyzzon
No way now CH is dropping Nolan...Ben Arfa was the only one in the team who had the capability to eradicate him.
KaKa
We really should consider starting with both Carroll and Shola. Carroll is actually better at tracking back than Nolan, the supposed midfield stalwart, and doesn't link up with the midfield any worse than Nolan does. Carroll will also cause far more problems as a goal threat. Nolan has had two really bad games in a row now and hasn't got his customary "bail out" goal. His time will soon be up for sure. colinmk
Tactics are abysmal, only when the players take matters in to their own hands to do we look threatening. Don't think they were tbh. Tactics could have won that game with an honest Ref. I assume Ronaldo is taking the piss here?
Thespence
Howay then Hughton, stand up for the lads. Btw for a Mackem, Adam Johnson didn't hardly celebrate his goal and compare that to his celebration against the mackems last season. Newcastle fan IYAM. Sherlock me like. He said he supported Newcastle during the 2 years he was with us. His fav player was David Ginola. This info was in the Chron.

stozo
Played well but were robbed. 3 awful decisions by the ref. Absolutely fuming.
Guest Heneage
The problem is that points aren't given out for effort. We've been ripped off by the referee today but ultimately we've got too many players who aren't doing enough. Hughton has his work cut out to convince the squad that positives can be taken from performances like this rather than let their heads drop thinking even at our best we're going to lose. Considering the injuries to Ben Arfa and Coloccini it's been a pretty disasterous day. Oh, and City are garbage. s*** team full of reprehensible overpaid workhorses and a vacuous, pathetic crowd. Id agree if it was one bad decision but he essentially changed an away win to a home win we should ne celebrating a ppoint not bemoaning a loss. Raconteur
enrique and barton want shooting for the defending for Johnsons goal, they had 2 on 1 just show him down the line and kept on his right foot and no danger whatsoever, everyone knows he's going to try and cut back on his left foot. This. Barton confused Enrique it seems, Enrique was tracking him inside until Barton ran through. That's what I thought at the time too - seemed like Enrique had it under control, then Barton came flying through and suddenly Johnson was past. Cracking finish, has to be said... Krul - 7 Perch - 5 Williamson - 6 Coloccini - 7 Jose Enrique - 7 Ben Arfa - Barton - 6 Tiote - 8 Jonas - 8 Nolan - 5 Ameobi - 6 Routledge - 5 Campbell - 8 Carroll -
Yorkie
One thing that's alarmingly positive is our centre-backs. I've haven't been this confident in a CB 'squad' in years.

BONTEMPI
How do we always get fucking done over time and time again by ref's? Something needs to come in like rugby on major decisions. It wont take more time and these so called top sides will not get half the decisions they usually get! Well pissed off with this shite.

Beren
Positives We probably deserved a draw. Jonas Gutierrez played fantastically/consistently had a decent end-product. Good response after the Stoke defeat - no problem with spiralling deflation it seems. Campbell did brilliant for Colo when he came on. Hughton brought himself to substitute Nolan! Tiote. Krul beginning to command his box a bit more/come off his goal line every now and again. Negatives We got nothing from the result. Ben Arfa injury looks serious. When Carroll comes on we play long ball/hit'n'hope. Routledge was very poor. Perch continues to look shaky. Shola played poorly. The ref did us no favours. Edit: Oh, and Nolan was so anonymous it's barely believable he played today. [/iMO]

Taylor Swift
I don't know what the hell Ronaldo is smoking, our tactics couldn't have been more spot on. We pressured high, defended well, controlled possession, nullified their midfield and should have won this match if the ref wasn't a corrupt cunt. TaylorJ_01
De Jongs wiki; "De Jong is married to Winonah, with whom he has two children: a daughter named Isaura-Siënna and a son named Kyan. His father is former Dutch international Jerry de Jong who abandoned him in his youth to live with his mother in council housing.[10] He owns a specialist car dealership located in Europe and the Middle East" Any of that true? J7
Good performance but disappointing result. Play like we did today and against Everton and we will be fine. The problem is cutting out performances like the Stoke one.
SGSC
Another unproductive 90 minutes from Nolan. This basically just sums up how invisible he is. Gets subbed off with about 15 minutes to go and it isnt noticed, its just assumed he still on the pitch hiding. Waste of space.
Skeletor
Ryan Taylor has to come in against Wigan. He may be a very limited player but he has end product something Routledge seems to have none of anymore.
