Unbelievable
Wouldn't mind seeing more of him this season. Think he offers more going forward at full back than most of our other options and looks pretty solid defensively too.
Dave
You guys are mental if you think Simpson isn't going to drop straight back in when he returns.
Fenham Mag
Tackling, crossing, trying to take people on. He has it all for a full back.
Mole_Toonfan
Was very impressed with him on both sides

ATB
Was the most exiting player tonight! He just has to play more.
Wullie
We don't know enough about him defensively yet but certainly looks miles better going forward than Simpson does.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Impressed tonight. Probably our best player overall.
toontownman
Yeah, really liked what I saw. Put his European clanger game well behind him and returned to look the part. Great stuff.
Karjala
Cracking performance! Hope we see more of the lad.
Big Geordie
Yup - good shift tonight from the young'un. Looks very promising.
Mick
He had a good game again tonight and should be challenging for a first team spot in a years time if he keeps on learning. He’s a kid and will make mistakes and will hopefully learn from them and become a better player for it. I’ve seen him play for the reserves where he looked a prospect and he’s getting better all of the time.
ponsaelius
He has surely benefited from playing over 50 full professional matches in his career already. Him being further away from the first team has been a help to his career whereas the likes of Vuckic, Ferguson, Sammy etc have been sitting on the fringes of the squad. Mind, he also seems less injury prone than the latter 3.
Sifu
My MOTM tonight, looked solid defensively and contributed a lot offensively too. Very promising, he's not too far off a start in the PL imo. I reckon he'll be challenging for a first team place come the start of next season. Hope we see more of him this season (with the Europa League in mind, I think we will ). Keep it up Tav

Big Geordie
Vuckic and Sammy could do with loans, but the weakness of the squad means they have to stay for the moment to provide back up. Hopefully Paul Dummett will be getting similar good experience up at St Mirren at present.

It would be ideal if we could loan some of our fringe players out to local teams so they are still part of our setup and can train with us for at least part of the week. Hopefully when they drop him it is from a great enough height to rule him out until January.

Not sure what the rules are on loans these days but if we could get a few out on month/s loans it would be handy.

Dokko
Didn't get to see much of the game, but what I saw he looked canny. Certainly not a CB, but hopefully Pardew knows this and starts giving him time at FB.
timeEd32
Can definitely see why Wednesday played him on the wing. Excited about him for sure.
Si
There's enough games coming up for him to play get some game time this season so we can see a bit more of him. Looks very promising though.
