gbandit
Does Obafemi Martins never reference us / visit / have any affiliation with us anymore? Expand Sidenote: I just looked up the 08-09 season Wiki and went down a Wikihole of looking up what happened to the players we had that season (and those we let go). 54
What footballer has the best for being a footballer, for commentary purposes etc. As I was just watching the EFL highlights, and Rak-Sakyi is near enough perfect for whenever he smashes the ball into the back of the net

Doctor Zaius
Havertz is clearly a good footballer but sort of fits into that category of languid creative player who is neither here nor there position wise, so doesnt really fit into a system. Someone described him as a nine and a half, which isnt really any good.
Kid Icarus
Havertz drops into the same category as Mason Mount for me. Tommy Toucher knew how to get him playing really well in his system but has done nothing since.
Stal
It's pretty obvious that, for example, a keeper dives to the left and tips a shot around the post then the corner is taken from that side. But if it's fairly central and he tips it over the bar then how is it decided which side do the attacking side take the corner from? Can they just pick which side themselves? Expand Aye I've never noticed it or even thought about it before, so thank you. I was just sat here and the thought crossed my mind so cheers for clearing that up, but has it ever been contested? I can just imagine some whinger like arteta arguing that they lost as they werent allowed to let their best corner taker take it from their preferred side. Someone described him as a nine and a half, which isnt really any good. Expand He’s not even particularly creative. He links up well but not a creative force imo. He’s has got ability but doesn’t deliver consistently. He’s a supporting striker. A poor man’s Eidur Gudjonson or a skinny Olivier Giroud. He’ll score some class goals. Think he scored a banger against England. Excellent first touch and finish in Howe’s first season up against Burn. This season people have definitely given up on him. I thought he could be good for 15 PL goals but he won’t get that now. Earning more than Saka is criminal.
