TRon
Zolton has a point regarding mulumbu imo. Cost less, scored vital goals while protecting their defence. Even if his defensive qualities isn't as good as tiotes, there is the arguement that his overall contribution combined with transfer fees and wages surpasses Tiote. I'd love him to partner Tiote in our midfield. Or how about a midfield trio of Tiote, Mulumbu and that similar guy from wigan? They would run circles around a6 man midfield even. Tiote's strength is his technique, he's a very good at holding the ball under pressure and making the right pass. It's the most important aspect for any central midfielder and no amount of goals will get you into a top side without it. If Mulumbu has that much ability then Chelsea or Arsenal will be chasing him this summer. I suspect he's nowhere near as accomplished a player as Tiote though. Mulumbu has scored a few aye, but is that his role? I'd much rather Tiote done what he was doing at the cost of him not scoring many. If you just watch him man, he's perfect for what he does. AyeDubbleYoo
Don't see the problem, if he's been a good influence behind the scenes and the lads like him it'll be good for team spirit to throw him on for a few minutes.

Dokko
Just shedding more light: ALBION will be without Peter Odemwingie and Gabriel Tamas for Sunday's trip to Newcastle (ko 4pm) primarily due to injuries. Roy Hodgson revealed the 15-goal top scorer has been struggling with an ankle problem. And the Baggies boss has seized the opportunity to maximise his recovery time over the summer by allowing him to break up a week early after playing football constantly for the past 18 months. "Peter Odemwingie won't play in this game for a variety of reasons," said Hodgson. "I don't know which is the most important to be perfectly honest. "He's got an ankle problem we've been nursing him through. "Equally important is that he's played a year-and-a-half's football without having the chance to get a break and in particular get the chance to go back and see his mother in Moscow. "Thirdly, he has got matches coming up for Nigeria quite a long way into June. "I do know he was hoping to avoid the friendly matches and just play the qualifiers. "But I don't know if he's been allowed to do that. "With that combination of reasons it was, in my opinion, important to give him the chance to get back and see his mother this week and not take any risk with his ankle. "Otherwise we have a fully fit squad to choose from, which is quite incredible at this stage of the season, and we'll be looking to put out the strongest team we can." Tamas meanwhile has picked up a minor knock and - with a hectic schedule of international football to come with Romania - has given the centre-half some much-needed time off. He added: "He's got a slight knock and he links up with Romania, who after their Euro 2012 qualifiers, have a South American tour, so his holiday - had he stayed until the end of this week - would have been two-and-a-half weeks, whereas everyone else is looking at four to five. "This is a chance to allow him more of a break and I wasn't sure I was going to use him in this game because I have other options."

Dr Venkman
for all our injury woes we're still gonna be fielding nigh on our first choice defensive line up, i think that will be enough to build on. rea; shame we're missing jonas like but i think the youngsters could do their fair share of running
